Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. I had gotten an email this morning about an exclusive sale... Extra 60% off last chance styles with code SECRETSALE.

Not buying tho. I have too many items still outstanding.

    1. Me either. Some of those items are 'recently increased', so the final price has been lower. I may check back for popbacks for the (adult) kids.

  2. I bit this morning. Got a popback of an SZ blockprint swim top in a print that I already own the shirt, skirt and headband of. If I'm patient enough, maybe I'll score the swim bottom and after... two years of waiting... I'll have the entire beach set.
I didn't get the SECRETSALE email but interested to know what they think is a last chance style. The code didn't work on final sale items for me.

    1. not sure if this will work... but this is the click thru link from the email (it was long so i shortened it to bitly)

  3. I called CS about an item that shipped on the 4th of May and vanished into the postal system on the 5th. They graciously refunded me.

  4. I bit during witching hour to try the Rainbow stripe Linen popover (AN109) & Short-sleeve A-line dress in embroidered eyelet (AK260 - the pink finally came back - where was it the past couple months??). Excited to try both! I think the dress may be too short-waisted, but I'm hopeful!

    1. @kelMay, I just received the blouse this morning and it’s very pretty and runs true to size. I paid $48.00 on Tuesday. Do you mind my asking how much you paid? I was up early this morning at 2 and believe I saw the price @53.00 plus 30%. I also saw the Peyton Linen sailor pants for 41.40 which I had $47.00 for the other day. Pricing codes etc are cray. I pulse appreciate the AN109 price. Thanks so much

    2. Sure! I got it for $43.40. $62 plus 30%

    3. Also I'm glad to hear it's lovely! I'm looking forward to it!

    4. Thank you so much Kel. Before I had heard from you I called my VPS and she changed the price for me to $35.42 plus tax =$38.01 total. She adjusted for the SECRETSALE code. See if you can get the price down. I’m not sure if they factored in a 5.00 reward for this but try. You will really love this shirt. One last thing, and am pairing with Item AL158 tropical bloom necklace. It’s not as large as the other necklaces but fits well with shirt and doesn’t overpower the design of the shirt. Just a thought. I got this on sale wait if you’re interested it’s too expense right now.

  5. I am in love with the look and style of the Slingback sandals in leopard calf hair but the fit is horrible, which is crazy given how minimal the shoe is. I tried my usual 8 and thought that the strap at the back was too tight, pushing my toes right to the edge of the shoe. I got the 8.5 today and they are worse. The back strap has virtually no give and the front strap is too large so my foot goes further forward than the 8. I was really looking forward to these shoes. Very disappointed.

    1. That’s so disappointing! I remember you mentioning that you were looking forward to those sandals. JCrew will need to up their quality, I used to love their Italian shoes.

    2. @jan, saw you were here. The Ratti regatta pants went down in price early morning. Did you check out the price again. I took your advice about a white cotton tee and you’re right, looks much nicer than a linen fabric. Thank you again

    3. @Lynn, that’s great to hear that the tee worked. Simple but I’m sure it looks classic with the pants. Sadly the price is still $247 Canadian. I’m really disappointed that we have no promo since it’s our long weekend. I will keep my eyes on the pants.

  6. Hi all, been watching the cashmere joggers, I have 2 pairs that I got in the store on the winter on sale. The grey is 49.99 but out of stock. Black is full price but final sale. Chat told me it’s because they not restocking.... redicoulus

    1. My cashmere joggers were my best purchase of quarantine! Unfortunately I ordered black joggers and have a ginger cat. That's why when I ordered the oversize cashmere wrap, which should arrive today, I chose camel instead of black! I wish the joggers came in more colors.

    2. I have both colors grey and black. I love them. Bought both in January in store on sale. Wish I can get more.... but can’t pay 228 plus tax

  7. I don’t understand, I got the email and it doesn’t work. I’m not even sure if there’s anything I want but still...I didn’t look that carefully but when I click the link and put in the code nothing is actually coming up at 60 off

  8. Suz, call CS and explain. Depending upon whom you speak with, they may or may not know what to do. If you don’t get anywhere ask to speak with a supervisor.I was lucky to connect with Hannah. She was so helpful. Unfortunately her shift ended at 8 pm. She was so good that I asked to speak with her supervisor and sang high praises for her. She knows exactly what to do. Been there for quite some time. Good luck!

  9. My Anthropologie skirt that was backordered and the dates kept changing was finally cancelled. :( I guess it's for the better tho. I've been buying a little too much lately anyway.

  10. Has anyone here tried the Collection lady jacket in English golden tweed (AJ039)? There is one review that is not helpful. It says, "Finally made in China, the cutting and quality is great again." Really?

    1. What a strange comment! I like that jacket, but right now I despair of ever wearing a jacket again.

    2. I have a similar Collection jacket from a couple years ago in blue/lavender tweed, and it is gorgeous. I took my larger jacket size 6.

But like Hexicon, I'm not going to wear it around the house. I get dressed nicely every day, but no heels or jackets!

  12. Thanks Miss JR for giving us the heads up about the SECRETSALE. I bit and ordered a few things. I grabbed the relaxed pants in Ratti geometric twill. AJ468 $38.80, Lady jacket in Lurex® Black Watch plaid Item AE993 $36 and the Ruffle-trim V-neck blouse in watercolor begonias print Item AJ456.$11.60. Thr pants were not final sale but the other two were if anyone is interested.

  13. I just read this article about Jcrew, it was a nostalgic look back at the old catalogues and what an exciting event it was when you received one. I hope that you enjoy it 😊

    1. Thank you Jan, wonderful article ah the old Jcrew. I’m hoping they will come back bigger and better than ever. I believe Chris Benz will help turn the company around. Preppy is in this year all over Europe so this is Jcrew’s big opportunity to do it right.

    2. That is great news for JCrew! Glad to hear that, I hope that they watch their quality but otherwise preppy should be their best shot at a comeback. I’m looking forward to Chris Benz’ designs too. Seeing the super low US prices on even new items worried me though because deep discounting got them into trouble years ago.

  14. The SecretSale made me bite it too. Suede smoking slippers H5523 in Roasted Cider for $17.34 had my name. I managed to snag tie-neck top in lace AG853 for $10.20. I figured that at $6.12 texting gloves in cashmere could always be useful ("winter is coming" haha). All of these came as final sale, so keeping fingers crossed it'll be ok.

And during the "witching hour", i was able to get Sleeveless popover dress AK264 for $27.96 and denim shift dress in white AK257 for $20.83. Neither of these were final sale, so i am looking forward to try them before making my mind.

  15. I bit too. Got the RattI geometric twill pants, the sleepy lion collection pants and rebought the pink button back shift dress, which is my THIRD repurchase due to the drops in price each time! I wasn’t going to rebuy it but I have some returns to make anyway so why not add the dress from an earlier order. I detest this rebuy game.
