  1. I ordered a few things from the 50% off sale:
*cotton skirt in Liberty floral symphony for $31.87. I've been wanting this for a while, so I'm glad I was able to find it at such a good price.
*sleveless tank in Liberty symphony floral for $25.49. I sized up per reviews, so I'm not confident this will fit, but I'm giving it a try. I'm hoping this will work with the skirt as a 2 piece dress (as well as wearing separately, of course).
*Harlow cardigan sweater with sequin placket in olive for $11.89. I love these sweaters and I'm so happy that I've picked up a variety of colors over the past few months at rock bottom prices.
*leopard-print pajama set for $8.07. With all the good reviews here, I had to give them a try.
*tipped cotton pajama set for $13.17. I passed on them before due to some bad reviews, but I thought I'd give them a try at this price. The complaints about them being too thin actually encouraged me to order as I live on the Gulf Coast and I like airy pajamas.
*ruffle top in Ratti painted pineapple for $20.39. This will almost certainly be returned, but I have the skirt and I'd like to try them together. If they look ridiculous together, at least I'll know I'm not missing out.

    1. Jeanne, I’m glad you were able to find the Liberty skirt! And at such a great price! I actually received the symphony Liberty top today. I managed to order 2 sizes to try and the larger one definitely fits better. So, I think you made the right call sizing up (especially if you have any kind of bust- mine is practically non existent ;)

    2. Did either of you have horrible difficulty fastening the button closure on the back of the Liberty Symphony top? OMG, I cannot get that thing buttoned to save my life. The loop is definitely too small for the button and the button is TINY.

    3. Thanks for the sizing review, Lauren. That's good to hear. I'm always a little hesitant to follow advice in the reviews to size up or down as I frequently wish I'd ignored it and ordered my usual size.

    4. Shopalot - Mine is still in transit, so I don't know. Hopefully not as my hand coordination is laughably bad.

    5. For those who love the Liberty Symphony print, Nordstrom has the same print in a perfect shirt. I just love the print and had to have it.

    6. Shopalot - I saw that a while ago but my size was already sold out. I'm surprised it was never on the J.Crew website.

    7. Jeanne - Nordstrom frequently has pop backs, keep checking. Yes, very surprised it never showed up @ J Crew.

    8. I have the tipped cotton pajamas, and appreciate the light fabric for comfort. They are adorable.

    9. p banos - I’m glad to hear that the pjs are nice, in spite of some reviews to the contrary. I have a pair of fabulous light, airy cotton Brooks Brothers pajamas that had a single 1 star review stating that they were transparent. They were on sale really cheap, so I took a chance on them. They’re perfect summery pajamas and no, not transparent. I wish I’d bought more than one pair!

    10. Sometimes low reviews are a good thing - no one buys the item and you wind up with nice pajamas for less than $15. My husband said they look like something out of a fairy-tale. Meant in a good way, not a scary one.
I like the Harlow's too and have - ummmmm - four of them. But they are classic wear-forever sweaters.
