  1. Loving jcrew jeans lately! I purchased 3 pairs of the 9 inch high rise toothpicks over the last few months, all on super sale (20-25 dollars each) and they're all fantastic, new favorite jeans. Comfortable, long enough (in the tall size) and they go with everything.

    1. Agreed! I've gotten 8 and 9 inch toothpicks and now the slim boyfriend, as well as a few from Madewell. I also wait for sale and between sale and promos I've paid under $50 for most, aside from the black coated ones from Madewell.

    2. My 9" high rise toothpicks in Prescott wash have been my most worn pair of jeans this winter. I reach for them constantly and I absolutely love them. They're the perfect rinse, not too light, not super dark and incredibly comfortable. I have found the fit varies between washes and I haven't found another pair I love as much but that's ok.

    3. The fall fit is different from the ones started in winter. The fall ones have the brown tag on the back outside waist and the winter and newer do not. The fall version fits well. The new version does not fit at all.

    4. I was nervously optimistic about a pair of J.Crew maternity jeans I bought on Poshmark, but they're my fave! I used to not be able to wear most pants/jeans from J.Crew, but they figured something out when I wasn't paying attention...

    5. I posted before about my love for the slim boyfriend jeans in Charles wash. The fabric looks and feels wonderful and the fit is good. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another pair of jeans in the same fabric.

However, I wore the slim boyfriend jeans in Shelton wash yesterday for the first time and I’m not nearly so happy with them. The fabric is very different from the Charles wash. These jeans stretched out so much that they were falling off by the end of the day. I like loose fitting jeans but these are ridiculous. I’m going to need to either take them in at the waist or only wear them with a belt. Still, for $18 I don’t regret buying them.

    6. Jeans are about all I've bought and kept from J. Crew the last year. My favorites are the Vintage Straight.

  2. This is the first time since January that I kept more items from an order than returning so that is a small victory. Ordered the Bandana Tippi. This fit fine in my regular size and is cute for the price. Keeping Side Tie top in Navy. Navy is my base color for my wardrobe so this will get a lot of use. Surprise love is the Embroidered Bell Sleeve Striped Top. It is a little wide but a cute way for me to get into the embroidered and bell sleeve trend. My one return will be the embroidered bell sleeve dress. This was a sack on me. The fabric is decent and it comes with a slip like under layer but does zero for me. But I did find three items to hopefully love!

    1. I, too, would be happy to keep more than return! Although lately I am buying so much with consideration to returning a large percentage...Glad so much worked! It's such a nice surprise when we take a chance on something lile the embroidered top and good ol' Crew shows up for us! (especially the tippi, I haven't gotten mine yet and am also a navy lover lol)

    2. I really liked the navy bandana tippi, too, but unfortunately the dye job on the one I received was defective. I first noticed that the color inside was very blotchy. Then, on closer examination, I noticed some undyed spots showing through on the outside in the ribbing area, too. Even at $14 this is not acceptable. Where’s the quality control?

  3. Does anyone know the item number for the pants on this page?

    1. Those are the Point Sur wide leg crop, you can tell by the 'x' on the rear belt loop.

  4. Hubs is loving the New Balance fitness gear. He has the 5" shorts for running, the 7" shorts for the gym, a couple of tees
    and a jacket.

I have some of the New Balance stuff too, and I really like it as well. Especially the sports bras and the in-transit long sleeve tees (at Factory).

He's also a new fan of the Bowery slim fit pants.

And he's a fan of the leopard print PJ set I found during the 40% off sale ;-)

  5. I really liked the linen easy pants in red I recently ordered. The color I believe is called dried papaya and they are an orangey red hue. I think these will wear well in the spring and early summer!

    1. I really like those pants (didn't try them on but the look). I got the lace pants in red and the sailor pants in white linen last year. Otherwise I'd. Be trying them

  6. As much as the J.Crew beauty line confuses me I couldn't help but try the Veque nail polish as I really liked the faded wisteria color.
This polish gets a huge love from me! Normally I'll paint my nails and will literally have chips within a couple hours but I seriously wore this for 4 days before I got a teeny little chip on one nail. The polish goes on really smooth and stays shiny. I was legitimately impressed and had to share the love since I'm so happy to now know about this brand.

  7. LOL sweet blog you got here, J Crew is my sister's favorite store of all time. 97% of her entire wardrobe is J Crew, the hoodie she bought me for my birthday is from J Crew, her wedding dress is J Crew, her wedding shoes are from J Crew and the jewelry she is going to wear for her wedding is J Crew. Get the picture?
