Ordered velvet pants from Ann Taylor during their 50% off sale. Came in two days. Fit is similar to J Crew. Ordered three pairs in different sizes. Keeping the velvet skinny jeans in black. Great fit. Perfect for the holidays.
ReplyDeleteAlmost all my gifts this year are coming from the Sundance Catalog. Beautiful (real) jewelry, knits, and handmade wool belts. Unique, not fast fashion, high quality and won’t fall apart after two wears. Even if your style is very tailored, there are lots of things to love.
ReplyDeleteI should add that most of the rest of the gifts I’m giving are from LL Bean. Good promo this week, and you can’t go wrong w their “forever style” and unlimited return policy.
DeleteI want to give gifts that last, and sadly J Crew doesn’t offer much that I would be proud to give this year.
I received the Scallop-hem cape in Black Watch plaid from Talbots (my first order from them in years) and wow, it's as cute as a button. Colors are pretty true to the website image (the green may be a little less bright) but it fits great (I sized down as I usually do in Talbots), the armholes are placed correctly and it has pockets. Capes can be tricky, but I found this to be a fun piece to add to my outerwear collection.
