Take An Additional 30% Off at Madewell (Fall Essentials & Sale!)

"Thanks!" to many of you, who let us know about the following promotion this morning.

Madewell is offering customers to 30% off Fall Essentials and an additional 30% off all sale items with promo code YESANDYES. This offer expires September 7, 2015. The fine print includes:
Offer valid on the purchase of select items in Madewell stores and at madewell.com from September 3, 2015, 12:01am ET through September 7, 2015, 11:59pm ET. In-store discount as advertised. Online discount valid on items marked “30% off with code YESANDYES.” Offer not valid on phone orders. Offer cannot be applied to previous purchases or the purchase of gift cards and cannot be redeemed for cash or used in combination with any other offer. In-store discount automatically taken at the register. To redeem online, enter code YESANDYES in the promo code box at checkout. Offer valid in the U.S. only. Terms of offer are subject to change.
If you are checking out the sale items, double check the item page. Some items are showing up Final Sale, while others are not. You don't want to get stuck with something that doesn't work.

I already made three orders at Madewell this morning. I wish I could quit you Madewell... ;)

Will you be taking advantage of this promotion? What item are you hoping to pick up? Please share!

  1. (Repost) Fitting room pic of the Skinny Skinny jeans in Trent Wash here. TTS Very stretchy and comfortable. Online it looks like there is fading but I couldn't tell in store. They just looked black.

  2. Has anyone gotten their refund for the recalled sandals yet?

    1. I did the refund in store so it posted to my credit card after a couple of days.

  3. I called this morning for a price adjustment on the Jess Oxford and the Biltmore brimmed hat. I had already gone to the site and added both to my cart to verify if they qualified. They both had 30% off with YESANDYES in red on their description and the code worked. So I call and the c/s guy tells me the hat doesn't not qualify. So I tell him I'm looking at it right now and the code worked in my cart. So he puts me on hold, comes back and says he'll honor it. What's to honor? But I say "thank you" and go about my day. I just looked at it's still says they are on sale, so I guess it was alright.

  4. It's mostly monochrome and boring. I'm rotating back J.Crew - especially their pants, pencil skirts ... and flatter shoes (Sloan & Dulci).

  5. I caved on the shirred indigo dress. It looks like a perfect transitional dress (hello, long sleeves) but if the fabric is really as sheer as the review say or looks cheap back it goes. I was a bit disappointed by the promo but at least there is no final sale in act...

  6. The promo didn't apply, but I bought the Ryder Cardigan sweater in hthr toffee. I sized down and would recommend doing that. I think it is going to pill, but we'll see. There is an online review saying it pilled right away but that sounded more like shedding. My Madewell cardigans have been *terrible* about pilling, though, so this one probably will be too. But it's so soft and stretchy and it has pockets, and I love the color (the hthr burgundy color is really nice too).

    1. I saw that review, Cate. Sounded like shedding to me, too. I'm considering ordering the Inkcheck Plaid Sweater, but am concerned about pilling. I have several of the Gamine Sweaters from a few years ago. I love this sweater, but it does pill under the arms. Has anyone seen the Inkcheck Sweater. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
