DeleteBut for a legit vent, I have a few things in my cart but not pulling the trigger. The prices jump all over the place and are more now than before. Nothing I need to have anyway so I'll wait to see if new arrivals have anything that catches my eye.

ReplyDeleteI have pretty much given up on Jcrew. They don't seem to value Canadian customers. In my view, they make it as difficult as possible to be a customer. I think my relationship with Jcrew is done.
DeleteShima, if you can access a cross-border shipping service in your area then you can shop the US site, with the US deals. Even with the exchange rate and the service fees, it’s still a better deal in the end than buying through the Canadian site. Might be worth a look online :)

ReplyDeleteHowever two items I managed to snag at what I think are fair prices shipped quicker than expected.
Ordered with the slower shipping to get the 25% coupon offered. And the package was delivered way earlier than it said it would. But didn’t receive any coupon in my Package or in my email. Anyone get the 25% coupon yet?
ReplyDeleteA CS agent told me that an email would be sent closer to the time that it can be used, so I guess that's in January(??).
DeleteI also asked for slower shipping and the item wasn’t supposed to be shipped until January but I received it 2 days later. No 25% off coupon with it and now I’m supposed to remember that I should get one maybe in January?!

ReplyDeleteJust got the sad news that the J Crew in Oakbrook, Ill., is closing Jan. 24. I live in the Chicago suburbs and the closest store to me now will be in downtown Chicago.
ReplyDelete@Rip-A-Roo Me, too. Heartbroken about this. Already lost my local store (Orland Park) a few years ago and then Naperville last year. This will seriously curtail my shopping with J Crew as I’ll have nowhere to try things on and no store to return online orders that don’t work out.
DeleteWhy do they keep saying the SHOPNOW promo is for one day only and then keep extending it? I am not going to purchase anything at only an extra 25% off. And I'm very annoyed that they keep yanking things back and forth from the sale section to a promo price where codes don't apply.

ReplyDeleteWhat is the deal with the JOY promo cards sent with orders? If I'm not logged in, the promo code works fine and I can see the discount deducted. As soon as I log in to check out- boom, the discount disappears. I don't get it.
