Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

    1. I ordered the lace tie neck sleeveless blouse in chartreuse. No idea when I will have anywhere to wear it, but in this color it should work for summer. Think it would be cute with my wide leg linen shorts (black or white). The red was s/o in my size. Also the leopard perfect rain jacket, darn it, I've been holding out on the perfect rain jacket for ages.

    2. I bought that shirt in the red and black. Stopping myself from getting the chartreuse. Although I realize it would prob look super cute with the color black snakeskin slingbacks from last year since they have a pop of that yellow. I posted when I got them, I’m not a huge lace lover but with distressed denim and cute shoes they’re a perfect summer night look for me.
Maybe if the yellow is cheap enough ill go for it. I asked my daughter last week and she said you’ll never wear it!

    3. Yes, it was your review that made me look. I could have had the black, but I thought the chartreuse would be a fun summer color.

    4. Well chartreuse sold out...it’s just as well. Two is prob enough for me and I can wear the black with those shoes too

    5. Well, I bought the S...maybe you are XS, but if not you can 'thank' me...

    6. Yes the XS was plenty big on me. Typically I take XS or 0 in sleeveless for some reason.

    2. I know even though I really shouldn’t buy anything now with so much uncertainty it’s upsetting that they haven’t included Canada in any promo at all for a long time.

  4. Leopard rain jacket got me too pbanos. I ordered a few sweats/leggings since I’m in loungewear 24-7 now and a swimsuit ($41 for the ruched one piece is a good deal). I picked up a pair of the zip up seaside pants - anybody tried these? Oh and some sweatshorts for my son at $7.

    1. The loungewear is tempting but I've been trying to do 'Casual Friday' every day at home. Getting dressed makes me feel better - trying to get my husband out of sweats but no luck yet.
Will be interested to hear if you liked the seaside pants.

  5. i've bought and re-bought a few things (sizing issues of course) and now i have a larger pile of returns than i'd like. not sure what i'm going to do... if i should attempt returning by mail and risk having issues since everything is from different order numbers or wait it out a little longer to see if the stores reopen in the next few weeks

    1. i do want to add, tho, that CS has been super awesome about honoring the lower prices i originally paid (because of the CARDLOVE discount) and doing price adjustments really fast

    2. Hm, wondering if I should reach out about a price adjustment for the sweater blazer vs. reordering at the lower price. I don't want a pile of returns either. Just perusing J.Crew's Instagram comments it seems like they're encouraging people to wait to return for free when stores are open with their extended return window. Personally, I'll be surprised if we're in a situation where stores are reopening at the end of the month (as much as it pains me to say that).

    3. when i message them on chat, i do say that i would do an even exchange but the stores are closed.

    4. This is a big part of why I'm reluctant to shop for clothes/shoes. I always have returns and I don't want to deal with them on a normal day. Now I don't even want to go to the post office. I cannot imagine that the J. Crew stores will be open in a few weeks. If they want people to shop right now, they should arrange free doorstep package pickups. There'd be no other way I would bother shopping right now.

Did anyone else get an oversized J. Crew catalog last week? It wasn't thick, but it was large.

  6. I ordered a bunch of turtlenecks for my girls who wear more than just black. Plus black.

For myself I ordered the cashmere hoodie and the crepe sole winter boots. If I’m going to be stuck in at least the hoodie will elevate my style.

I may try the crepe shorts in another order. I think the price is fair at 28 but I’m not in a rush for them.

  7. Hate it when I make a post then delete by accident.

Received a few items from the last sale x sale (aka magic hour).

Long-sleeve eyelet top Item AJ617 (9.75) This is a dressed up tshirt. I like the sleeves, bell or balloon sleeves work well to balance out my wide shoulders. Took my usual S, and it fits well with room to spare. For the price a keeper. I'll definitely wear in warmer weather with pants, shorts or a denim skirt. Would not have liked at FP.

Sequin-sleeve crepe blouse Item AE902 took a chance on $13.50 final sale and ordered my usual S. This is a really pretty top, and a give away at that price. Sad to put it away until next fall. I will wear this to work next winter. Or break it out for the rare dress-up.

Short-sleeve T-shirt with nautical embroidery Item AJ777 (9.75) I went up a size as I do for perfect T's. The small would have been form fitting. In M the shoulders just fit me, and the body is comfortably loose. The color is less vibrant than I hoped, but it is cute. Have to try with my sailor jeans before I decide, even though the price was low.

For my husband, the Cotton sweater in patchwork stitch Item AL006 m(20.00) I love the color and the pattern and the heavy weight. I wish there was a womens boyfriend version, as this is stealable. He never wears heavy sweaters, so we shall see.
Also for him the Linen-cotton lightweight sweater Item AL352 (20.00) He wore this one as soon as I opened the package, so a hit. I sent the same sweater in a hoodie version at the same great price to my stepson in N. CA. and think he'll like it too.
