During Everlane's 25% off sale, I got the Luxe Cotton Side-Slit tee dress (both S & XS). I think XS will be a keeper. Not looking forward to the return.
ReplyDeleteThe returns are easy. Just generate the return label and put one sheet in the package and the other is the label. In the past they credit you right away. I got pants yesterday I didn’t like and gave them to my carrier when he was dropping off another package.

DeleteUnfortunately, the leather pants you mentioned were sold out in most sizes during this sale (Everlane). How are they working out? The reviews are wonderful.
DeleteNot great. The leather was really nice and they had potential but they were a bit loose and the legs were uneven on me. This seems to happen to me a lot! I measured and there was a 1/2” difference in width between the legs. I think if they were tighter or more cropped it might not be noticeable. Def well worth the price if the fit works.

ReplyDeleteI ordered on Sunday, was notified that items would ship in '2-4 weeks. But they shipped on Monday via FEDEX and will be delivered today! That is impressive!
That is and I’m jealous! I ordered several of the day gloves and 40 hour flats. I have plenty of flats but literally not one comfortable enough to walk more than a few blocks. I don’t know if they will work for this need but i had to try. Our last vacation I ended up in my supergas for wandering around at night. My cap toe espadrilles from last summer are adorable but not great for walking miles.
DeleteThe pants I returned are the new pleated chinos. I don’t know what I was thinking but they looked awful. OTOH the other perfect pleat pants are nice and comfortable enough that I wore them around the house the other day. The wide leg crops in both lightweight chino and the regular material are also comfortable and look good. I’ve been testing my clothes to see what is comfortable enough to wear around the house and look nicer than sweats. 😂

Thanks for the leather pant feedback. Now I feel better. The legs seemed a touch wide. The straight/cigarette/slightly tapered silhouettes suit me best.
