Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the HOLIDAY sale, or to see some new SPRING arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  2. I went to the B&M but mostly ordered catalog including the Sun-drenched sweatshirt in white, the Deveaux sandals in Toffee, the Giovanna wedges, the side zipped sweater in white and some suiting. The store was fairly well stocked but the sun-drenched sweatshirts were selling out.

  3. I was able to get to a crewlet to get the silk driving scarf in the floral (modern red) pattern. Thanks to all who posted about finding this. It was marked $44.50 and they had $5 off scarves, so not a bad price.

  4. I went to the re-opened 5th Ave store (NYC). It's beautiful!!! They whitewashed the floors so they are similar to the Collection store, which I'm ambivalent about. But I love the new product showcase racks on the sides of the floor. They have beautiful new chandeliers and the artwork clusters are fantastic (though a little Anthrolike to me). The floor is much easier to walk around too. All in all, a huge jump from the store previously. It was always a nice place to shop but now it feels luxurious. Bravo, J.Crew. :)

  5. Visited 3 B&Ms and a Crewlet on our way home from the Detroit area. Somerset Mall in Troy definitely had the best overall selection, especially in clearance items and I picked up the Buffalo Boy Shirt in Celestial Blue there (out of the total of 5 B&Ms in the Detroit area they were the only ones who even had the shirt). I found it interesting the price variations from store to store. Some had the Brigadier Utility Jacket marked down to $69.99 while a couple of the stores had it for $39.99. I also saw the same belts at full price at one store and the same ones on clearance at another. J Crew stores are like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're gonna get! :)
