Just got an order with 2 popbacks, here are my reviews:
ReplyDeleteLiberty perfect shirt in June Meadow: The fit seems slightly roomier than other perfect shirts but I still took my normal size. Really lovely print and the overall length is great, so it’s a keeper!
Daphne topcoat in Italian tweed, faded guava: This coat is STUNNING. The tweed is soft and warm, the pockets are at a good height, and the color is incredible (pink tweed with some light cobalt specks, hard to describe, but it is really a showstopper). It runs large so I need to size down, I bought a size 0 but need a 00. It is now sold out, so I think I’ll put it in the looking to sell section so I can pass along the savings to another jca (price has since gone up in case there are popbacks!)
I so wanted that Daphne in guava, I kept gawking at it in person during the season. I had it in my cart a few times but couldn't justify the space in my coat closet, which has 3 NWT JC wool coats already (a green Daphne, a Parke topcoat and a lady day coat). Still regretting not picking it up though.
DeleteI have it in navy and got a lot use this winter considering warmer temps... bought it in January in store and worn nothing else all winter. Also sized down to 0.. tried 00... but 0 was better with blazers... love the coat...

Delete@Kate What size do you normally wear? I am trying to figure out if I'll be sized out of the coat or if the 00 will fit (I'm looking for it on ebay or poshmark since it's sold out). I agree that this coat is a total love and I can see myself getting a ton of wear out of it!
