One of my returns was finally processed (now I have to wait for the other 3 items to get credited as well) but at least one is complete. I shipped 4-19, arrived 4-29, processed 5-7. Still better than anthropologie which still hasn't processed a return that arrived on 4-22. CS at Anthro said they are processing orders from 4-20 on may 7, so 18 days from arrival! Wishing everyone speedy returns or patience.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they were delaying processing returns to keep them off their balance sheet for the bankruptcy filing.
DeleteReally, I am so surprised by that. I have done three anthro returns since quarantined and each time I had the refund within 2 days. Once I did the next day, less than 24 hours later. Sorry you are dealing with this but maybe you'll have better results than they said.
ReplyDeleteShout out to my Camerons in bi-stretch cotton. I've been noticing that I keep reaching for the same pair of pants to run errands out of comfort, and finally looked at the tag to see what it is. It's the dark pewter Cameron in bi-stretch cotton I bought back in 2018. Still looks great, doesn't crease or stretch out, and the regular length is almost full-length for my petite height (5'1). Looks great with flats, heels AND sneakers. Fit TTS unlike my other Camerons, which are all over the place depending on whether it's ponte, 365 wool or printed (or hi-waisted). Now that I've figured out the perfect pants, can't wait to buy more with better promos!
ReplyDeleteI love my bi-stretch Maddies for the same reason, great with dressy loafers and sneakers (maybe heels too but I never wear them for work). The material has held up well to weekly wear for the past year. I loved some of the brightly colored Camerons that were put this spring but won’t risk buying a new style of pants due to the high return charges.
DeleteHas anyone purchased item AN003, the Ratti tie waist regatta print pant? If so how is the sizing? There’s also a blouse in poplin but I’ve noticed some of the poplin shirts have been quite thin and not of the best quality. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI was looking at these pants too! they look gorgeous if they fit right
ReplyDeleteI ordered a pair in my normal size. Hope they fit. Will post after trying on.
ReplyDeleteThey look lovely! I look forward to your review. I just wish they weren’t poly.
Delete@jan, me too Jan. I just hope it’s not a heavy poly. I’m really missing the good silk too while we’re at it. Let us know how the lobster dress turns out. I really hope it works for you. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lynn! With JCrew restructuring I hope that they return more to quality and steer away from fast fashion.
DeleteThe dress likely won’t arrive until late next week, no rush of course but I look forward to seeing it IRL. It’s been in transit for a long time, shipping in Canada is really slow right now.
Anyone ordered the tiered popover dress in Liberty Wiltshire print, or the ruffle shorts in the same print? Wondering if they are tts. I noticed for the striped popover the reviews state it runs large so wondering it will be the same for the Liberty version...
ReplyDeleteI am wondering the same! Wiltshire print dress and skirt, no reviews and I don't want to order until I know how sizing is running. Last liberty skirt I bought ran big but is was elastic waist and this one -Wiltshire print -has a zipper...
DeleteItem AP167? I ordered it last week and expect to receive it today (out for delivery)! I'll update once I try it on.
DeleteYes, AP167. Can't wait to hear your review Denise! :)
ReplyDeleteReceived! Runs large (the zipper is unnecessary, and I'm curvy). I'm 5'4" and it hits mid-shin. Quality is nice: white cotton lining, neckline sits nicely, deep pockets. I paid full price and now its 50% off with WEARNOW; will they honor a price adjustment?
Deletethanks for the info! Glad the lining is cotton. Such a pretty dress, wish they had put up a pic of it on a model because I wanted to see how the V neck fell.
DeleteThanks for the review. Glad the lining is cotton. (I ordered the shirtdress in Liberty Margaret Annie print (AK219) and the lining is poly which is a bit disappointing but not a dealbreaker.) I usually wear XS so I guess I'll order the XXS. I'm pretty sure they should give you a price adjustment since you paid full price. I would definitely ask for a price adjustment.
ReplyDeleteSizing down should work. I wanted a looser fit so I'm not exchanging. I chatted w/ customer service about a price adjustment and they said it is ineligible because the new price requires a code (rather than a regular markdown). Stupid policy. I just ended up purchasing the dress again (saved $84) and will return the first one when stores reopen; I'm hesitant to mail it back in case they claim they didn't receive it. I also added AK219 to my cart. Disappointed about the poly lining, hopefully the cuteness makes up for it.
DeleteWow, that is a stupid policy!! As others here have discussed before, some of their pricing policies are just strange and completely work against them. AK219 is cute, I also ordered the same dress in the gingham print (AK218). The liberty fabric is softer in comparison to the gingham poplin (which is thicker/stiffer), so it falls better. The liberty print is as always, lovely. I'm debating whether to remove the ruffle around the waist, it's cute but not sure it works for me.
DeleteI think they both run slightly large (I ordered my usual size 0) but I feel sizing down would have made it too tight around the waist. Will also get the darts around the bust taken in a little as it's a bit loose. Overall happy with both dresses. :)
