Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. No store visit for me. I am still waiting on the Alpine Turtleneck from the order I placed early last week to arrive. It hasn't received very good reviews from JCAs on instagram, so I'm not too hopeful it will work out for me, either.

  2. Just a reminder that today is the last day for the extra 30% off sale styles at Madewell. I've shared links to reviews and IRL pics from myself and other bloggers for many of the sale items in this post.

OT: For those who may be shopping the Green Monday sales, I've shared a comprehensive list of the deals taking place around the web from a lot of different retailers in this post.

    2. Just looked again at the sale section. If you're a size 27, 28, 29, the Skinny skinny coated motorcycle jeans are $49.99 plus 30% off (and not final sale).

  3. I'm going in-store to look for a couple of things and make a return to another store. It's nice having the $20 off $100 coupon if I find what I'm looking for.

    New reviews here:
    * pieced pinstripe sweatshirt
    * drapey keyhole top in stripe
    * silk casade blouse in peacock

    1. I was told that I could not use the $20.00 off with any other offer at my store yesterday. That is just stupid. How am I even going to use it before it expires? Everything is going to be on promo or sale from here out. To be honest, you would think they need every sale!!! I got another email coupon today for $25.00 off $100 purchase. There is really nothing that I want right now anyway. I am die hard JCrew and there is usually always something I have my eye on, but not right now. Who would just take $20.00 or $25.00 off a purchase and not get the additional percentage off????? Makes no sense. Anyone else been told that or is it just the SA at my local store do not know what is going on?

    2. I did use the $20 off combined with 25 percent off of over 100.00. This was in Lynnfield, Mass store.

    3. DD- very strange, mine was honored on top of the 30% @Pentagon City, Arlington, VA.

    4. The coupon states that it is valid on purchases of $100 or more after other discounts are applied. I was able to use it after the 30% discount yesterday. It also says "one time use only", but the SA handed it back to me after the sale rather than keeping it or ripping it up, so it's unclear if I can use it again.

    5. Doodle Daschund - You got a misinformed employee. All of them have encouraged the use of the $20 off $100 card and made a point to hand it back, noting that it's good thru Jan.

    6. What's the coupon code? Is it in store only?

    7. Denée - The coupon is in-store only. It's a brown envelope with the terms printed on the outside.

    8. I called my store today and guess what, they are now honoring. Thanks.

  4. Made a return yesterday and the store was dead. Sale section was full of t shirts, high rise jeans and shop worn sweaters. Tried nothing on and probably was only in there for a few minutes. I used to be able to spend an hour trying things on and debating what to buy. Hope the crew reads the thread from this weekend gets it's groove back soon.

    1. Same here. I miss the days where the coats were beautiful and the quality of the sweaters were amazing. Overpriced, thin sweaters and pushy sales staff too....

  5. I made a quick trip to the clearance store this weekend. That is the only place I can justify spending any money at JCrew lately. I did get the houndstooth schoolboy blazer b0664 with the orange under the collar for about $30.00, couple pairs of shoes, a few shirts and a few other things all for less than $150.00. They had 40% off at the store which brings things down to warehouse prices. The warehouse sale is this weekend but I will not be going to fight the crowds. People started lining up at noon on the Friday before just to get in at 9:00am on Saturday for the last one. Trust me, it is cold in the mountains and there is nothing I would stand in line for that long. Heck, there is hardly anything I would drive to the mall for. :) Taking back yet another sweater that I ordered in normal size that is too big. It is the Diamond Fair Isle Sweater that is sold out online. I am returning a L and luckily was able to get a M. If anyone is looking for L, respond to this and let me know.

    1. Hi, could you possibly tell me what the chest measurement is? I ordered a M on pop back, but I'm not sure if it will a) ship or b) fit. Thanks for any help you can provide!
