  1. Why won't they include puffer vests?

  2. Why do they jack up the prices? Would've made a purchase today but most everything in my cart was priced MUCH less yesterday. Sad trombone!

    1. I agree, totally not cool J Crew. Ames/Factory boots $84.50 yesterday and $98 today. That is not a way to make sales and try to recover your business. My money went to Madewell this morning.

    2. Also not cool-walking into Madewell today and seeing those same boots prominently displayed for $238-yikes. Thankful for another great JCA deal.

    3. @Wendy - Seriously? I got mine today and I paid $63. They are awesome boots. Came in a Madewell box, have the Madewell logo on the sole. I feel like telling everyone I know about this deal. I'm shocked they are still selling them at Madewell for $238.

    4. Blakemdjohns, can you comment on sizing? I take an 8 in J Crew shoes (except half a size up in Martinas), but own the Archive boots in a 7 (yikes!) I have no idea what to order!

    5. anthro blogger, I took my normal jcrew size (10) and they fit perfectly. I definitely wouldn't size down.

    6. I ordered a 6.5 cuz they sold out of my Jcrew size. 6- hoping thick socks will make it work. What do u ladies think ? Does it get bigger around ankle or toe box ? Think it'll fit ok or look too big ?

    7. I ordered an 8, which is my regular size. They fit fine, if not a tiny bit roomy. I can definitely wear thick socks with them, which works with the style of the boot. I'm wearing them today and they are really comfortable.

    8. Luckily the sz 6 popped back and I was able to do an exchange with CS. Cross my fingers one of them works out !

  4. How does factory swim fit (I am looking at the anchor print set)? In retail I am solid size M (bikini). Thanks!

  5. Kind of OT: I just got home from a road trip during which I was able to stop at two different J Crew Factory stores. I got a little card for 30% off your third purchase, (which now has two punches--meaning it would work for 30% off on the next Factory purchase). Unfortunately the nearest factory store is about a million miles away and this is only good in store. I'm happy to mail it out to anyone who wants it (for free). It's good through Dec 31. Just send me an e-mail with your address to katenhfs (at) gmail (dot) com.

  6. I got the L'Amour triomphe tee that has been sitting forever in my cart. The price didn't go up so $16 and free ship seemed like a "now or never" deal. Hope I like it, I loved the retail version but couldn't put up with the linen fabric for winter.

  7. Sorry to be off topic, but there's a cute article on FORBES about Jenna Lyons and the Mahem blog girl here: http://www.forbes.com/sites/aliciaadamczyk/2014/12/09/mayhem-strikes-at-j-crew-4-year-old-designs-capsule-collection-for-crewcuts/

  8. Okay you all have convinced me to try the Factory (Madewell Ames) boots! My price wasn't quite as good as some of you got, but it was still pretty good, with the 50% off plus a 20% off coupon. I hope they're not too high for me.

  9. Does anyone have an extra factory coupon code? My email is ptlifestyle3 at gmail. Thanks!!

  10. Picked picked up the Ames boots yesterday after reading all the comments. The pecan disappeared from my bag as I was checking out but popped back up 1/2 later. Got them for $68! With my rewards I only paid $22. Hope they fit as I wasn't too sure on sizing. Thanks for the heads up JCAs!!!

  11. This Ames boot tip reminds me of last years JCA gem, the Pear Bracelet. I think I paid $17 for mine and still wear and love it. Thanks JCAs. I texted my sister the info on the boots and she got a pair in black.

  12. Factory - 50% off sitewide, as many of us know. Check out my Factory Review & IRL Pic Guide.

Try GIFTTIME for 10% off of 1 item, 20% off 2 or more items.
CARDPERK should also work, probably need your J Crew card.

This was a promo card I recvd in the mail. It says it's also good in-store, ending 12/14. So ask about it if you visit. There isn't a one-time coupon code, so they should have a code to scan at the register.

    1. I tested GIFTTIME and it's not working. Font is so small on the back, I can't read it. The card is definitely good 12/8 - 12/14. I guess it can't be combined w/the 50% off, even though no code is needed for that one.
