  1. I got a present from J.Crew last night! A cube-shaped box with something heavy . . . it was one of their scented candles in a pretty glass jar. Lavender, Rosemary, Bergamot, but subtle. Nice!

  2. There was also a mini roll-out...I noticed new coats/jackets, shirts, shorts....
and new markdowns added to sale!

    2. It's for resort....customers who can go on a vacation somewhere warm during the winter season.

    3. Retailers often do a resort line for vacationers.

    4. There is still plenty of swim from last season in the sale section to choose from too.

  3. I love when they offer free shipping on all orders. I usually try not to buy clothes too far out of season, but when the lace sheath dress popped back in my size this morning, I went ahead and got it. For $27.99 and free shipping, it will be worth storing away until next June when it warms up enough to wear it.

  4. I bit on the elephant parade tee, even though $30 is pretty steep for a t-shirt. It's been sold out a few times online but keeps popping back in a full range of sizes, which is strange.

  5. Lots of new shoes added to the sale. I love their suede Elsie/Everly styles. So reminiscent of Manolos at a fraction of the cost.

  6. OT- I remember someone a while ago with small feet like me saying that the girls' darby loafers should just go on sale already! They were at 89.99 FOREVER. Browsed this morning and they are marked down to 69.99. It's about time! Might jump on these and wait till the Spring to wear them...

  7. A review of the J. Crew Colorblock Lace Panel Sweater in this post This is a great sweater unlike many of the other ill-fitting sweaters this season.

  8. A few jewelry pieces took additional cuts, like the peapod necklace and modernist pendant; I have the peapod pendant and love it. I have a few jewelry pieces on backorder for Christmas gifts and I just received an email that they are backordered until the 15th...might be too tight for me to give them to people at work as gifts...so I might order a few jewelry pieces with the sale and free shipping and cancel my other orders. Or...keep those for myself when they come in. Haha.

    1. I picked up a couple of the peapod necklaces for gift giving, too. I hope that with free shipping, the jewelry arrives before Christmas, lol.

  10. Factory - 50% off sitewide. Factory Review & IRL Pic Guide

If you recvd the trio of discount cards in the mail, the current one, GIFTTIME for 10% off 1+ item or 20% off 2+ items isn't working online.

Font is so small on the back, I can't read it. The card is definitely good 12/8 - 12/14. I guess it can't be combined w/the 50% off, even though no code is needed for that one.

    1. I ordered this morning and used code GIFTTIME and it worked on top of the 50% off! I bet they probably changed it..

    5. My middle card worked yesterday, 20% off 2 items, yesterday morning (Wednesday 12/10). That was on top of the 50% off that the items were marked down to. Did they take it away?

  11. It was 30% off full price and 40% off markdowns at the B&M I visited today at lunchtime. The sale section was packed and the tons of ill-fitting sweaters are just not moving at all. Had extremely helpful SA who did not mind my many online returns. Received another receipt envelope $20 off $100 coupon with my purchase, too.

  12. Can you stack the $20 off $100 and get
    The 30% off?

    1. From what I understand, yes, you should be able to use both discounts. They will take the 30% off first and then if your total is still greater than $100 they will apply the $20 off coupon. Please correct me if I'm wrong!

    2. can the $20 be applied online? if so what is the code? thanks:)

    1. In the past few years, it's right before Christmas, after the deadline has passed for ordering to get it by Christmas. Probably the 22nd or 23rd, if I had to guess.

    2. Thanks! I'm wondering if it would be worth it to wait a few days and see if 40% off sale comes back online, but I didn't want to run into final sale since I'm not sure about fit. ;)

  15. Just ordered the golden sun majesty. Too good a deal to pass up, had to add to my collection. Love this coat, hopefully CS is right and they have addressed the buttons-popping-off issue of the past few years. This beautiful yellow will help me get through the grey misery that is winter in the Great Lakes region (at least until the polar vortex hits and I have to wear fur).

  16. An item I want (outerwear) is excluded from the 30% promo. I wonder if I go to the B&M and they order it for me if they would apply the 30%??

    1. Ashley - If the store has the coat in-stock -- not nesc in your size, just that it's carried in-store -- and the 30% is being applied to the coat in-store...a sales assoc can either order it for you thru the register computer or call in and place your order, requesting that the 30% be applied. Good luck :)
