It is a little weird that J.Crew would be holding out this promotion for Sunday, but I am excited about it nonetheless. :)

Some of you might have noticed that several items in the promotion today (like the Long-Sleeve Pocket Tee in Stripe and the Maritime Blazer in Placed Stripe) were also part of yesterday's 40% off Summer Layers promo. That is right- yesterday's promotion was an additional 10% off savings. Not sure why J.Crew did not just up it to 40%... At least you get a second chance for some savings on these items.

A lot of Collection Cashmere is on sale for this current promotion... Cashmere doesn't exactly scream "Summer staple" for me. In fact, I am surprised J.Crew did not offer their basic tees and tanks under this promotion. (Now that seems like a "Summer Layer" to me.)

The one item I think is a great Summer layering piece is the Linen-cotton pant (item 81326; $89.50) in Brilliant Cobalt. I must not be the only one thinking that, since it is already sold out in a lot of sizes (including mine). Ah well!

This is a really great offer from J.Crew. Not only is it a great discount amount, but includes free shipping, and will be around for sometime. Congrats to our JCAs in Canada!

Also "thanks!" to shargey (in this post) who shared the following promotional codes for international orders: MAGALOG15 and FRIEND15 for 20% off purchases. These offers expire Sunday, June 30, 2013 as well. She also mentions:

The latest April J.Crew catalog sent to customers may have a unique promotional code (for something like 20% off on any order, free shipping with no minimum, or $20 off a certain amount). The offer expires either April 10th or 17th (depending on which one you get).

Emily also shared some specifics on the code she received:

...there was a 20% off coupon with NO limitations!! It's in store and online, 20% off TOTAL purchase (sale items included)!!...

Usually the codes are for one location (online or in-stores). To see the code be good for both online and in-store purchases is fantastic.


Po also shared an image (shown above) of what she found in her catalog, as well as some specifics on her card:

...the offer is only valid on regular price & in-store items. The good news is no minimum spending required...

This card kind of reminds me of the Mickey Green card (in terms of applicability and use). Although this one has no spending minimum, which is nice.
