Aw, I miss all the JCAs! I know most of us are not especially excited by recent offerings (to put it gently), but if anyone has tried any of the Summer stuff I'd love to hear about it! I bought 2 pairs of shorts from J Crew that I had to return (lol) but did keep a pair of the 4" stretch chino shorts a size up from my usual size and I like them that way - loose in the waist and comfy. I ordered the Madewell "curvy perfect fatigue short" in the "palm tree" color - they run big but I love the dark green and they look cute belted. Such a high rise though!
ReplyDeleteFinal Sale denim: I tried "slouchy boyfriend jean in centre wash" (BF553), definitely "slouchy" but I like them (got them in tall), will be great cuffed up in the fall and winter. It's a baggier silhouette than I'm used to but a nice change.
Hi Julie, I miss old Jcrew and old JCAS too. I havent shopped Jcrew this year. I bought a few vintage Jcrew and RL on poshmark and ebay. Also bought a few Alex Mill skirts second hand. Great quality. The price is higher than new Jcrew (on double clearance), but I love the details and quality.
DeleteFor new, I bought SOnDeFlor linen dress on sale, and EM+Me cheesecloth dress on sale too. Both on their way to me. I have pretty much given up on Jcrew. I buy less but better.
