  1. Today I am loving my bow seam pencil skirt in double-serge wool
(Item H3499). I received it last Friday and wore it Monday, one last chance to wear a wool skirt before Spring. People were standing in line to tell me how nice it looked! And today I received a $20 adjustment on the price. Wow, thanks J. Crew! BTW, I have an hourglass shape with a 27" waist and this skirt fit beautifully on the roomy side in a 4.

    1. My issue with that skirt is the slit is not high enough to walk if you need to move fast. If it went above the knee that would make movement better.

    2. In an emergency hike it up and run!

Come to think of it, I do walk slowly, especially for a person who runs most days.

At least it's not Morticia Addams narrow at the knee...

  3. I love that jcrew has not made much that I’ve wanted in the last 3 months and that I’m saving money??

    Best I could do 😆

  4. I love the twist-back tee I got in the mail today. I ordered grey and think I will pick up a pink one as well. $18 on sale. I sized up to a medium and it's still on the fitted side without being too tight.

  5. I ordered several swimsuits and tried them on last night and J Crew is still working this area very well. The swimmer tank is adorable but the style did not look good on me. I ended up with one the Liberty suits. Sized up one size and it is wonderful.

  6. I also like my black printed silk dress H9700, which I wound up with in size small. Sometimes I am medium, sometimes small. Originally I ordered it in both sizes and returned both as too too short on 5'7". Then I realized I could wear it as a tunic with leggings, so I had to go and order it again. I've never done that before!

The good news was the price dropped between the two orders. Today it's up again...maybe in advance of a % off sale?

The reviews are mixed, which does reflect my own messy reaction to this dress. But wearing it as a tunic with leggings and black loafers solves the too short (and too young) issue for me.
