JCA "Help Style Me!" Weekly Post

This is the weekly "Help Style Me!" post, where we can share items we are having trouble putting outfits together with. Elaine (in this post) says it best, "You know, that thing you bought because you love it and you keep pulling it out and then putting it away without wearing it?"

Please share your J.Crew item (either that you own or are thinking about getting) that you would love help creating an outfit with.

    Not a styling question (sorry), but I am wondering about my online account. When I set it up, I did not provide my birthday. Am I missing out on some sort of annual birthday gift (like special % off) by not giving my birthday to J Crew? Thank you!

      Yes, they send a $25 of $100 purchase each year for my birthday, or something like that.

      This year I got $25 off a purchase of $25 or more(January b-day). I think it is only for J. Crew credit card holders though.

      My birthday is this month so I received a one-time use $25 off coupon. In the past, I've received instead a 25% coupon, which doesn't always work as well since sometimes their regular sales are better, so I don't end up taking advantage of the coupon. The $25 off is better. Good for use anytime during your birthday month.

      You do, but usually the site wide promo is better and you can't combine the two. So it has been a waste for me. HTH!

      @Pansy, have you tried using the $25 birthday gift card in a store, by chance? I was able to use mine on Groundhog Day when there was a 20% off full price items. Didn't try using it online though.

    Last night I tucked my Drake's midnight unicorn top into a pair of high waisted dark jeans. I accessorized with a cognac leather belt and leopard print Superga high tops. Also wore my sandstone Boulevard Trench and carried my ink Celine Nano. I got tons of compliments! Didn't take a pic because I had a flight of rose with dinner, so... you know how that goes.

    I think tucking it in is the secret for me with the silhouette. When I wear it untucked, I think it looks kinda ill fitting on my frame.

      Not that I know of, but I remember ladies getting them from time to time :) Thought it was worth asking before taking the full-price plunge ;)
