Talbots had a new rollout this week. Cute stuff! Honestly, there is nothing at J Crew that floats my boat right now and there are so many cute dresses, tops, shoes, bags at Talbots right now. I could spend a lot there. Very sad to see J Crew implode but so great to see that Talbots gets it.
ReplyDeleteI got their catalog yesterday and it's funny how the layouts of the items look just like an old-school JC catalog.
DeleteThey've got a pink tweed jacket that looks very similar to the peplum lady jacket in neon fuchsia tweed from last year.
Talbots is not trying to compete with Zara and BR but understands their customer so much better than J Crew. They have a niche and it is filling a void in the market.
