Please share your J.Crew item (either that you own or are thinking about getting) that you would love help creating an outfit with.
Also, please help out by offering your styling advice. Feel free to include links to your blog (where you incorporated that piece) or to Polyvore (where you showcased an outfit with that piece). Thanks in advance! :)
Good evening, good morning. I did a Facebook Live review of the new sequin cami and a couple other items. Click here to view.
ReplyDeleteI got the Funnel neck top in black and white stripe. I did try it when it first came out with slouchy jeans and although I love the concept, it kind of just hangs on me so I waited. Since I've still been thinking about it I ordered again. Regular length arrived, waiting on the tall, but it doesn't look great with any bottom I've tried, tucked or untucked, buttons done or undone. If it was more soft/ slouchy it might work better. I'll try a few more times but unless I come up with something it's going back. Any thoughts from the JCAs?
ReplyDeleteSuz, I had the same experience. Bought tall and regular and nothing worked. I looked like a paper doll. I was very disappointed, it was my favorite item in that rollout. Sidebar - I was also disappointed in the sleeve opening at wrist. They could have done better.
DeleteYes, that's how I feel. It's stiff and boxy.
DeleteCould it work as a layer or would that be weird?
ReplyDeleteI was initially thinking that but the collar isn't as wide as I hoped. I think I do have a larger/longer size coming (mid January!) so I can see if it works better with that.
