I'm wearing a pair of Sammie chinos today (in the off-white color, which is pretty daring for messy me), and I really love these pants. I have them in green, khaki, grey, wine and the off-white. They just work for me perfectly.
ReplyDeleteIt is weird that they were introduced in the fall (I think that's true), when they are just great summer pants. Anyway - I hope they make them again in some different colors (probably not - I never seem to see the things I like again!).
I really like my Sammies, too! I bought one pair to test drive in late fall, and then bought 3 more on clearance to wear this spring. Do you find them stretching out a lot? I don't remember them stretching too much on the test drive, but when I was wearing them last week they stretched out more than I expected. Probably nothing a few minutes in the dryer won't fix, but as I normally hang dry my clothes I'll have to wait until the next laundry cycle to find out.
DeleteI've found they stretch some, but not a lot. I tumble dry the pants on low, so they go back pretty well.
DeleteLove the new perfect fit tees. Hope J Crew makes more colors for late summer/early fall. I'd love red, royal blue, plum, more striped versions . . . .
ReplyDeleteMe, too! I bought this tee is so many colors already - it has turned into my summer uniform!
