ReplyDeleteBought two coats from Jcrew factory. After reading the reviews I thought I would try them. Ordered on line. Has anyone of you bought the city coat or peacoat from Jcrew factory??
ReplyDeleteHi Ellen - I bought the peacoat to fill a gap in my coat closet. I love a navy peacoat and was pleased with this one, although it's a thinner wool blend and I know it won't offer any real warmth from late December-March here in upstate NY. (That's okay, I've got older Thinsulate-lined coats from JC and a puffer coat from LE for that kind of cold.)
DeleteI ordered mine with a Gilt City coupon so it came to ~$77, which I think is fair given the quality. I really like the shape and fit, and don't want to pay $200+ for the retail version because I like to rotate coats, and the Majesty usually seems to have some kind of quality issue that shows up in the online reviews.
