JCA "Help Style Me!" Weekly Post

This is the weekly "Help Style Me!" post, where we can share items we are having trouble putting outfits together with. Elaine (in this post) says it best, "You know, that thing you bought because you love it and you keep pulling it out and then putting it away without wearing it?"

Please share your J.Crew item (either that you own or are thinking about getting) that you would love help creating an outfit with.

    I received the clip dot midi in Orange yesterday and am trying to think of color combos for spring and summer. Chambray is always an option but it doesn't read spring/summer to me. Any ideas? Maybe light pink? I have the lace up flats in peach - maybe those would work with a white blouse?

      I think orange looks especially nice with navy.

      I agree with shopping celle about the navy! Also, I saw Sarah Vickers (sarahkjp on Instagram) style the skirt with a white shirt and she added a belt. It looked really cute!

      I tried it with the cobalt blue buffalo-check popover, surprised how well it worked! Also went well with the orange patchwork-stripe top and the redwood/rose multi stripe top (which would work with the peach flats). Thinking it may also work with my gold metallic linen tee from last year.

    I know Gray/charcoal and Olive Green don't scream 'spring/summer' but I think these two shades might go nicely with your skirt (and the peach flats, possibly?) White or off-white as well. Have fun styling it! That skirt is so pretty!
