A big "thanks!" to Desert Flower again, who not only let us know about a J.Crew item being spotted in the latest issue of Elle, but also scanned the images for us to view! (Click on the image to see it larger.)The J.Crew item is a cotton-blend cardigan with chiffon trim and retails for $88.00. It appears to be an upcoming new arrival.
The contrast color around the placket (I hope this is the right term) is lovely. Adding the chiffon makes it a must-see for me!
What are your thoughts on the cardigan featured? Do you like the placket contrast? Will you get it? If so, please share! :)
That cardigan does look really cute. OT, but I have to say I spent a good two minutes drooling over the Oscar De La Renta dress underneath it. SO pretty. Thanks for sharing these scans!

ReplyDeleteThe cardigan looks cute in the magazine pic, but sadly I'm pretty sure IRL it will be thin and see-through.
I am not sure about the chiffon. Fraying? Unfinished edges? Would have to see in person....just going on recent experiences with some sweaters and trims on tees, etc.
