Have been carefully shopping Gap much of the time. good promos...will adj prices if prom changes etc.\
just looked at Banana Rep. like alot. ita only March so higher prices right now for sure... but the linen/blazers/jewellery/scarves ...huge amount on my later this spring summer list
did order a few cotton linen dresses from. luv that tehy offer tall in the t shirts and sweaters too!. I just like the longer length...I am not tall. just my two cents...but until JCrew gives Canada more promos....I am out.
Right there with you! The prices are insane. I haven't ordered from JCrew since early fall 2022. Right now I'm eyeing up a striped hoodie, but it's $203 CDN plus the taxes and shipping which would come in around $250. Far too steep for me.
DeleteI stopped in store this weekend. Sale was 50% off (limited offerings) and 30% off full price. New collab (Flora Obscura) was on sale and new Liberty print (Georgia Duke cutout and Buzzy Izzy smock dress and top). Prices are cheaper in store. I tried on each dress and was surprised by how much I liked the smock dress. I'm not usually a fan of this style of dress, but the style is one of those that you have to try on. Fit was tts and no pockets. I did not purchase, but may consider later in the season. I purchased the Flora Obscura cut out dress; the print is very pretty and lots of compliments when trying on; $50 in store with % off sale. TTS and it's modest; a bit of a "peek a boo" in the back, so not too revealing. There's a hook and eye closure at the bottom of the top (just below the zipper), so the top of the dress fits more securely. It was easy to zip the dress.
ReplyDeleteOrdered Flora Obscura silk slip dress in pink. Dress is sold out online. Broken Arrow store in OK has the dress. Store is overnighting (no charge). This is the one item from collab that I wanted to try.
I was looking at the flora obscure cut out dress online for my daughter for a wedding in Savannah next month. What is the actual fabric like? And re:TTS, is that according to the size chart or your usual size? My daughter’s size changed recently and she is unsure what her size would be.
DeleteIt's a nice cotton fabric that has a smooth finish; cotton feels like Thomas Mason shirts if that helps. TTS as in my usual size; I typically take the smaller of my 2 dress sizes when the waist is elastic. I think it would be a very cute option for a wedding. Hope that's helpful.
