I took a chance and bought a pair of Thursday boots. I was searching for a pair of lace up boots and, although I did try the Kellie boots from Madewell, they weren't quite what I was looking for.
ReplyDeleteI bought the Captain boots in Arizona Adobe color. I was also looking at the Brandy color since those looked more polished. Bought my usual size 8. LOVE THEM!!!
I've worn them every day for about a week now and I think they're perfect. A little rugged. But not too combat/heavy feeling. They're tight with the really thick boots socks but fine with my regular boot socks (with plenty of toe wiggle room) and I think I'll be able to wear the thicker socks once they break in a little more. I'm super happy with them right now and I'm thinking of splurging and ordering a different pair of boots from them. Unfortunately it sounds like they don't do discounts or referral codes or anything.
I have two pairs of Thursday boots (Legend and Combat) and I love them too!

DeleteI'm pretty consistent with wearing a size 8 in most shoe brands including jcrew and madewell. I went with an 8 in the Thursday boots I bought and there is no break-in issues at all.
