Well I have encountered a problem I’ve never encountered before! Yesterday I went in store to do a return. The return email with the amount was correct but what posted to my account was not! How does that happen? Ugh, I’ll call the store today and see if they have any idea what might have happened but I feel like there’s no way for me to prove there is an error because the receipt is correct. Has anyone had this problem?
ReplyDeleteI had a similar problem - bought shoes, then they were marked down drastically. Too late for price adj. Ordered shoes at drastic price. Waited to be sure they’d arrive correctly, then took first pair to store with printout of original order. Was told I could only return them at drastic price. SA got nasty. Brought shoes home, called JC and explained. Offered to email pic showing both pairs of shoes and their boxes. Brilliant CS understood immediately, sent me return label and credited correct amount. Wonderful CS!
DeleteCS can look up your account and see what you paid and what you got. Storehelp can do this too, but most’y dont want to be bothered.
ReplyDeleteI think they will help. I did large return this week and one item was missing! I called store and they took care of it ASAP!
DeleteWellfedfred, you were right. The store didn’t know how to fix the issue but a 10 minute call to CS solved the problem.

Delete@wellfedfred saw your Poshmark comment from yesterday. I agree! I’ve bought a few things lately but not from current season. All are items from years past (NWT) and speak much more to my “style.” I went in a B&M in a nearby city last week (my first time in a year since our store closed) and it was...meh. The Crewcuts section was more “J.Crew” in my opinion or at least more like the “J.Crew” I want to shop.
ReplyDeleteZ&M, I have actually bought back-ups of things I know I’ll love forever and won’t see repeated, at least not with the same workmanship and attention to detail. I’ve even stowed a few things in larger sizes, because no woman in my family has ever gotten slimmer with age.

DeleteStill looking for a one piece neon flamingo asymmetric one piece in size 6. Got the petunia in this style but would love to exchange for the neon Out of stock online....but I keep checking.
ReplyDeleteMy two closest stores closed in the past couple years, and now that things are getting back to normal, I’m really missing popping in for sales and new arrivals and chatting w the SAs. My closest store now is a half-day effort. I know I found more to love when I could see and touch and try on, and I just miss the experience.
