This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend (to take advantage of the "additional 40% off" on the few sale items that are left or to see the new Fall arrivals), maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the sale items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic! P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts, which by the way "thank you!" :) I really love how helpful we are for each other!
I am undecided as to whether I will take my "solo" trip this weekend, or not...my hubby is taking the day off on Monday, so maybe I will go then. I don't feel the "urgency" to go like I would if I knew they hadn't already returned all of the summer stuff, and actually had the new Fall pieces I want to try on. I have two different tracking numbers on my Andrea Jacket...one says it's coming today, and the other estimates Monday, so I won't know until later this afternoon as to which one is correct, but you all know which one I HOPE it is! If I don't get the Jacket today, then I will probably wait to go until Monday or even later. I do know they still had some shorts and tees at the Orlando store if anyone is interested...407-226-9732. :)
ReplyDeleteI went by Manhasset (LI) and tried on the Andrea. Loved it...loved it. But I needed a size 6 which they did not have. Size 4 was a very snug good fit...but felt I couldnt layer once the weather gets cooler. The honey glaze color works pretty well.
ReplyDeleteThe sale section still had some candace in orange and jamie jackets - 40%. But otherwise not else much left.
I went yesterday and tried on a bunch of the fall clothes, just to see how the new stuff looks on me. :) I ended up getting a couple of things.
ReplyDeleteOne of them was the cord peplum jacket. I know some people don't like the puffed sleeves or the drape but I thought it looked super and I really liked it! I especially loved the happy bright red color, which works really well for my skin-tone. I felt kind of bad, I told a woman that the other color was black but when I looked at it closer, realized it was navy. Whoops ...
Oh, and the usual items were on sale at the Stanford (Palo Alto, CA) store - featherweight merino, peplum jacket (it was 79.50, not 79.99 like others have mentioned), piper tanks, picked over shorts, pique tees. Very picked over and some prices weren't as cheap as online.
I went to the J.Crew today in Glendale, CA. I just had to get another pair of Watson pants that are insanely comfortable at work. I got the Vintage french terry boatneck in navy and dark cloud for $39.50 each because they had a special on it. I didn''t really mean to buy them, but I figured I can keep them until I need to wear them mid-October because that's when the chill comes around here.
ReplyDeleteThe Jcrew store at the Park Meadows mall in Denver had the bateau dresses on sale yesterday in all 3 colors, plus an additional 40% off, for a grand total of about $38. I didn't notice if any of the new fall items were on sale.
