Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. My store was promoting 40% off sale and 50% off shoes and accessories. I picked up the Sloan suede d'Orsay flats at $47 after the discounts.

  3. I stopped by madewell last night. my local store in harbor east, baltimore, maryland, instead of doing the 20 percent off sale from online, is doing 30 perfect off sale clothes and shoes and 50 percent off sale jewelry. I noticed a few things: the nico boots are marked down to $99.99 in store; the adore dress is $39.99 in store. might be worth a visit - I picked up a pair of the nico boots that I wasn't willing to pay the first sale price for, which was $159.99, but I ended up paying around $60 for them with the second marked down price, the 30 percent off sale, and my student discount, and I'm good with that. almost interested now in getting the grey suede pair ...

  4. What happened to the sale section? Women's is down to 476 this morning. It's never that low. Did they pull a bunch of stuff out?

    1. Hi cate - they must be messing around with the site this morning. Earlier it was 2600+ items in the Women's section, but the Quick Shop links didn't load and if you went to the item pages there were no sizes or item descriptions (but not the "sold out" message).

  5. I received a sales flyer in the mail from jcrew factory with a promo for 20% off a $100 purchase with code MYGIFT. Apparently, it runs from today to December 31.

  6. I'm heading to the store tonight to return a Super 120's wool suit - I really need a good basic black suit and this was a great deal on sale with additional 30% off. Unfortunately, it feel SO cheap. Not like wool, more like polyester. The pants are unlined and my usual 6 is skin tight from waist to knees. The jacket is well cut, but feels so sloppy in this thin material. Any suggestions where to get a classic, quality black suit?

Also I ordered the red collection wool dress on the 9th. Still hasn't shipped (although the rest of the order has). Anyone else thinking I should give up on believing I'll actually get it? :) It looks beautiful online - I miss JCrew doing good work dresses.

  7. I've been eyeing the red Peyton satchel - it's now in the sale section, marked down from $198 to $195....score! LOL Way to go JC marking it down 3 bucks.

  8. Too busy for a personal visit this weekend, but last night I ordered the Wallace & Barnes red check shirt jacket for myself. I bought it for my husband and I really love it on him...he said "ummm....we'll be twins. oh boy".....ha. And I ordered the black wide leg pants featured in the catalog with the Stewart shirt. I ordered them in two sizes. The smaller size I'll get in time to wear (if they fit) to Xmas parties....the bigger size ships Dec. 2. So we'll see. I expect they will be long as well and I'll have to wear heels to keep them for dragging the ground. If I love them and they are too long I'll have them hemmed. Now that I've ordered them (no discount on the pants) that mean that the Crew will put them on sale (like tomorrow) and I'll have to jump through the J. Crew hoops of adjustments, etc. But I have the feeling those pants might go quickly...or not. I don't know but they seem like the sort of garment that the real J. Crew fashionitas would like. Not that I'm saying I'm a real J. Crew fashionista! Hee!

  9. OT, but after looking at the December style guide I've been thinking about how J Crew has changed in response to the meltdown of the past year. They clearly took a very cautious turn this fall - the catalog looked to me like the company is very fearful right now.

So two things - first, we haven't seen or heard from Jenna in a while. No Jenna's picks anymore? And much less media - fewer interviews etc.

Second, many fewer collaborations, except in shoes. IMO they took the collaborations way too far in the last couple of years. Maison Kitsune, Public School, Apiece Apart - and even the painful Little Mayhem - it all represented a big distraction.

I'm sure there are other big changes but those have stood out to me.

    1. Jenna's recent appearance on Canadian TV was very...unpromotional. for lack of a better word. she was very " it takes a village " and saying its not all about her...wonder where this came from ? the top? Mickey? but I still kinda love her. C

  10. Curious, how does everyone feel about Club Monaco? I rarely go in my local Atlanta store because it's not convenient....but I was recently in NYC and visited their flatiron store. The store is just gorgeous - clothes are pricey but look like good quality. Anyone know if they normally do a black friday sale?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hey Lori, I really like Club Monaco. Over the past year I've been getting more and more from them and less from J.Crew.

Regarding sales, they are not as frequent as J.Crew or BR. When they do a sale it's usually over a weekend, they are due for an additional % off the sale price soon.

I buy sweaters and shirts from them. Still prefer J.Crew for pants. I find Club Monaco slightly edgier. J.Crew has a much wider colour range, but Club Monaco is in my opinion more urban in their offerings and less preppy.

      Delete
    2. Thanks so much! I like the colors - all that camel and ivory and pale pink together look so pretty. Watching for a sale, thanks again for your feedback!

      Delete
    3. I like Club Monaco for its high quality items, like silk blouses and skirts. Many items seem too high maintenance for my lifestyle, but the items I have purchased I really love because they are well made and great quality. More expensive than J Crew, but I'm willing to pay higher prices to get the quality.

Sometimes they do a percentage off regular prices, but those are not frequent and they do the sales over the weekends. Good luck!

  11. Hey.....wondering what those REALLY wide leg trousers (e3066) look like? Here they are: http://atlantic-pacific.blogspot.com/

I LOVED them when I saw them...but I just wouldn't wear them enough to justify the cost.

  12. I do like the atlantic-pacific blogger. She has a unique style completely unlike mine and seems to have fun with fashion. This outfit makes her look like she was hit with the crazy stick though. Too. Much. Going. On. Those wide leg pants need simpler tailored pieces to prevent the swallowed-by-my-outfit look.

  13. Scored the Elsie d'orsay plaid flats just now! They popped back up in my size and hurriedly checked out online. Got them for 30% off with my J.Crew card, plus an extra $50 off (using 2 gift cards I got from last weekend's sale promo - the $25 off if you spend $100..got a couple of christmas gifts out the way and the cards were a nice deal on top!). Total came out to about $80ish... I definitely didn't need new shoes but I needed to use up those gift cards because they expired soon and the shoes were one of the few things that caught my eye. Immediately after I checked out, I saw that the item went unavailable again, so I guess I got the last pair for now? Either that, or I'm gonna get an email in a few hours saying my order didn't go through because item is unavailable!

I was debating between holding out for the Elsie Pumps in plaid to pop back but then i figured the flats are probably more versatile..I can wear them to work and dress them up if I need to. The heels are BEAUTIFUL but I just wouldn't get enough wear out of them to justify their cost. Oh well maybe when they go on super sale after christmas/NYE I will reconsider!

  20. So . . . I have the star embroidered Elsie heels (on sale + 30 or 40% off), which are awesome. And I just received the Mary Jane flats (~$83), which are ALSO awesome. I don't think I can bring myself to return either of these "shiny ponies." Someone tell me it's okay or tell me that I'm crazy. They are just the cutest, coolest shoes, but CPW is *not* high on these puppies (ponies).

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I'm so glad you were able to get the Mary Janes! I received mine too but am not thrilled. They are gorgeous but the ones I got seem to have already been worn. The satin is already fraying from the sole on the pointy toe. Unfortunately, I will probably be returning them...

      Delete
    2. I bought those Mary Jane flats when it was first released and returned it. Too delicate to wear out, knowing it will get worn out too fast. :)

      Delete
    3. Those are good points. They are probably not that durable. Maybe I'll keep the heels for special occasions. The flats are so cute, though!

      Delete
    4. You must've stalked those shoes like crazy, Blake!
How do you keep track of the sold out items you hope to buy?

Now I'm kind of obsessing over that stripe tee with the fur trim. a JCrew SA who I follow on IG, and was wearing the stripe top, and it looked cute! I should'ved ordered it the first day it was released.

      Delete
    5. I actually didn't stalk either of them. I happened to notice the heels one day as I was scrolling through the sale section at work, and they were in my size and not final sale, so I grabbed them. Then I became interested in the flats, but they seemed gone. In fact, I couldn't even google and get them to come up as sold out (it redirected to the home page). Then I happened to check JCA at 7:00 (after yoga, waiting on line for a coffee) when I saw a post about them popping back in a few sizes. It was a free shipping day, too (plus a 30% off for cardmembers). Honestly, I was shocked when they shipped.

As for keeping track of pop backs, I just check my phone when I first wake up. I bookmark the product page so I can go right to it. If there are sizes left, but not mine, I'll add it to my wish list and then "edit" the item to the size I want. That usually works for adding sold out sizes to your wish list. Then I pounce when I see something :)

    6. Yea, I bookmark items from my iPhone, as well, or it's in my wishlist. Stalking for items I like is a part-time job! Lot of work..haha! BTW, I ordered the Teddy jacket in olive; size XXS popped up early this morning. Looking forward to trying it on; I hope it doesn't look silly on me, because of the drop shoulders and long sleeves.

      Delete
    7. Ahhhh, I hope you love the jacket. It's one of my favorite all time items -- J.Crew or otherwise. The shoulders take a minute to get used to, but on me, when the coat is styles properly, effect is not clownish. Its actually a fun silhouette.

It is a part time job, though. Ha ha!

May pop in again this weekend to see if anything else has migrated over to sale...

  23. Just got some of the new arrivals in today--(fast free shipping!) Like the Faire Isle sweater but want to try the M vs the PM that I bought. Loved loved loved the perfect party skirt but too tight--would need to go up 1 or 2 sizes--- :( Got the white classic turtleneck sweater but didn't like it- would like them to do the relaxed turtleneck in white. What didn't you like about the Classic Turtleneck sweater?

I've been debating between ordering the Classic or one of the rib trim ones. This one, item E5394 or this one, item E4398. Too many turtlenecks with almost the same name.

  24. Kind of random. I bought fair isle socks. I looked for them online, but there is only one color online and there were four in store. Anywho, they are super cute in person. E3337. I bought mine in brown and red. It's probably that I'm just behind and they're sold out of the other colors.

I bought the Floppy Felt Hat I didn't know existed, because I haven't been shopping JCrew. Anywho, fell in love and will wear it out of season until I get my fix :).

Lastly, I literally ran to my store to have 40% and free shipping honored on the Collection pencil skirt in graphic peony when I saw it pop up in the size people suggested I order it in. My sales associates are awesome. I was wearing ducky pajamas and ready to drink wine when opportunity struck. Had to change my plans.

  26. No visit for me this weekend, but I'm considering placing an order for a couple of items online. For those interested in the Majesty Peacoat, it's on promo right now, so with the extra % off it's about $118.50, and even less if you have a J.Crew card. There are also a lot of other great sales going on across the web this weekend, including Madewell and many other retailers. I've shared a list of weekend sales taking place in this post on my blog, for those who want to check it out. :)

    4. Today the coat is priced at $278 (except for the one color at $149.99) so they obviously made a mistake yesterday. Based on Gigi's review it will probably be on major sale soon enough ;)

    5. I need to try that jacket on in store, so I'm prepared to buy it when it's marked way down. I think it might work for me, because I don't have a lot of volume on top. The Regent Topcoat is probably more my style, but I think it will be easier to get the Majesty Peacoat on sale.

  27. I can't find anything from the new catalog that will compel me to fight the (already!) growing holiday crowds. I ordered the wool plaid pom pom scarf through CS to get the correct pricing (with discount), but nothing else is really floating my boat.

On an unrelated note, I filled out the bizrate survey because my CS experience was so pleasant (they really upped the phone CS, IMO). Someone from customer service reached out to me when they saw my comments about how J. Crew really isn't my style anymore. I pointed out the too short skirts, the sequined embellished items, the changing of the "classics" (Majesty Peacoat). I called her back (Denesha), and she took down all the issues I could remember from here :) . I told her that J. Crew Aficionada was a great resource (which she knew well!), as was ebay for the selling of classic items. I told her that was her marketing right there.

She said that the design team was well aware of the issues (boo dream weave, boo short skirts, boo funky drop shoulder seams, etc.) and why is it my husband can pull something out from J. Crew from his closet that's 5 years old wear it, no problems? She said they are diligently compiling all this information. I told her if they were to offer a 5-item, "back to the classics" rollout mid-season (Lexington Jacket, beautiful skirt, simply-styled trench, etc.) in excellent fabric, I would totally buy full price. As it is, I haven't bought something at J. Crew in ages (I keep not qualifying for a rewards card because I end up returning items!). She said she would pass along all our comments, so keep commenting, everyone!

    1. I hope they don't get rid of the minis altogether though. I really do love them. On me they're not too short. It's rare to find adult length short skirts. Something well past your bum, but not anywhere near your knees. At 5'4" it's the easiest length for me to wear. I love a pencil, but they're constricting. JCrew has had the mini for a while, I still have a felted wool mini from 7 ago.

      Delete
    2. I agree...I love their minis too but I'm a shortie (5'2"). I spoke to them more about the professional skirts that sometimes are too short. I felt that most of my J Crew wardrobe that I have worn repeatedly were from a few years ago (2007-09).

  28. I went to the Vancouver Robson street store last night to check out the new arrivals. I tried on and loved the Sequin Martie pant. This was such a surprise since jcrew pants rarely work for me. They were priced at 147$ before the 25% discount which is less than the online price by about 20$. I also tried on and absolutely loved the perfect party skirt. I took my regular size 4 and it fit perfectly. I would say it may run a bit small since I take either. Size 4 or a 2 in the pencil skirt and I definitely could not have taken the smaller of my two sizes. I also tried on the stewart plaid button down. It was too small on me in my regular size 4 and I would have to size up to a 6. I tried on quite a few of the plaid button downs and loved them all except they were all too short. I tried the Buffalo check shirt jacket as well. I loved the look of it but found the fabric stiff and rough. I suppose that is because it is not all cotton. I would say it fits true to size but if you are tall like me it was too short.

    1. I had the sequin Martie pant in my cart during the tiered promo, but was unsure of fit, so I decided to see if they were available in store. I was happy to hear that Shima found them at Robson, so I went today. They must have re-ticketed them, because today they were $168. The pants are beautiful, and I was so surprised they were lined. I found them a bit tight on me, and would have had to size up, but they didn't have it in store. I was surprised at how little new stock Robson has. I liked the look and material of the Nordic parka, but found it much too heavy, especially for our rainy and somewhat mild winters.

  29. I visited my hometown in Lynchburg which means I went straight to the clearance store. I was completely put off buying anything J Crew for a while because of the eBay crowd! A group of older men and too lazy to get dressed women were going around the store grabbing EVERYTHING in sight and making giant piles. Several of them would follow me around lurking and the second I would pick something up and put it back they would grab it to add to their pile. They would buy the $500 minimum from their pile, go put it in their car, and come back in to buy more of their pile. The lead manager expressed to me that she hated dealing with these people too. I was so disgusted knowing how cheap they were buying items for and probably selling for a ridiculous amount on eBay. It also angered me that they were clearly looking to see what I was showing interest in since I obviously knew my J Crew stuff! It just made me feel all kinds of icky and pissed off they were allowed to make these insane piles of stuff.

    1. I don't even understand how they make money. Maybe in the heyday, but only a handful of things even ever sell out, and everything gets discounted to a price below what resellers are selling for on eBay. As JSR and I joked above, it's a part time job, but you can basically get anything J.Crew sells for more than 50% off. Who is buying J. Crew things on eBay?

    3. Hi Kelly, that is really upsetting I agree. It's too bad it hurt your experience, I'd love to go to a clearance store someday. Although hearing about those buyers is a turnoff. I hope you were able to find something good at least! :)

    4. Greetings Kelly - I've never been to a clearance store since I live just far enough away to make it a difficult day trip. But ugh, all I can say is what a gross experience. I guess there's not any way for J.Crew to _not_ sell to people who can't be bothered to even act like they are buying it for themselves. BTW, I have bought a few J.Crew items on eBay. All had been sold out in stores for months or were offered a year or two (or three) earlier, so no luck buying it direct from JC. The experiences have been mostly good, but as much as I compare to the website photos and original retail prices, I'm always wary of what I'm getting. BTW, maybe someone can mess with these people - only pick up wrong-sized items, something you would never buy, or follow them around and ask how much they think they will make off certain items. They can't complain if another _customer_ is acting rude, can they? Cheers - Jennifer

So I received this today. The fit around the chest is perfect. The length, not so good. I am 4'11, and it looked a tad long. Because of the teddy material, I wasn't too fond of the neck, which makes it bulky, when zipped up. I don't think sizing down would work. Maybe if it was made without the stand-up collar, it may have taken some of the bulk. So back it goes to the mothership.

Oh well...moving on to my next 'Teddy' obsession.

I mentioned to blakemdjohns that i just ordered the Teddy jacket in olive this morning. It doesn't have a collar, its size XXS, and its shorter in length. I hope its not a hot mess on me. lol!

    1. JSR, sorry it didn't work out for you. The teddy jacket looks really cool though! I tried the navy color on in the store last night and the xs is the right size for me. You are the same height as my sister-in-law. I am 5'4" with a longer torso so the length was fine for me but I can see how it would be too long for you.

  31. Heads up to people eyeing the Factory vests - the herringbone patterned one was 40% off in my store today. They never go on promo and I had my extra 30% off coupon, so I caved. It's so warm!!

  33. Any styling ideas for the floral sequin sleeve sweater in orchid? What color bottoms - navy, black, gray? Stumped other than jeans.

    1. liztriden - Blogger ate my comment. I suggested brown, although that might not be an easy one. Navy might look good.

    2. Thanks gigi! I'm or a huge brown fan but I can see it working because of the color of the sequins. Navy is a good idea too.

  35. went to a B&M for returns- the perfect party skirt wouldn't even come close to closing in a 10---- so I left it behind. but I tried one those lace slip on pants and loved them in a size 6--- which were a tad too tight but the 8 too big....so left behind too--then I tried that lace A line skirt in a 6 and although shows too much hip fat--- I still took it with- pair with a black collard perfect shirt and either those gold d'orsay or sparkle elsie.....
although I'm petite and the skirt came down past my knees--- I liked it! I tried on the fun fringe shell-- and I didn't like the fit--the arm hole issue---and the fringe was too hard to manage- it was delicate and putting it over my head would tangle the fringe I thought to myself why not a side zip for this!? maybe if you can step into it- it may work.

    1. I stopped by & ended up buying the Buffalo Plaid Shirt Jacket in Navy & Ivory. I know it sold out last year, but there's a full size run currently. I really like the fit & look. It's casual wear and I'm so into that right now. I don't really have a huge need for work clothes given that I work from home for most of the week. I saw the reviews where there were concerns about length, but not an issue for me. It covers my buttocks & I'm over 5'8". It was discounted 25%. I did look at the factory version based upon Gigi's reviews, but it was sold out in a medium, so decided to go with the retail option. Planning to layer with a plaid flannel shirt I bought @ Marshalls for $15, J Brand fury crop jeans ($48 @ Last Call) & Frye Melissa button boots ($129 @ Last Call). Love the boots & jeans; I've been wearing them to death. They were steals at Last Call when LC had a sale with 50% off your purchase. Thomas Mason Tuxedo Tunic finally popped back in a size 8, so I ordered it & just received the shipping notice. Planning to layer with the Vince Leather Trim Sweater that popped back in a size medium @ Bergdorf Goodman for 70% off ($103). Yippee! Hope everything works.

  37. Does anyone know if the chateau parka is included in this sale instore? CS said they would price match if it is on sale instore. I missed out on this in the big sale earlier this year so I am so excited to see it again!

    2. Yes, they had 25% off everything in the store last night. I actually looked at that coat while I was there and it is really nice, and feels so soft and cozy!

    3. I called my local store to ask about the coat, and they said they excluded the chateau parka and the cocoon from the sale :( I do not like all this inconsistency!!!

  38. Another question re. the Chateau Parka. Can anyone comment if they found the sizing between last year's and this year's versions different? I sized down last year, and now have the cobalt on backorder in that same size. However, I tried on the red in store today in what I thought was my size, but it was pretty tight in the arms and bust. Just curious if anyone else had the same experience. Thanks!

  39. I have a care question about my (older) Tippi sweaters and (older) merino v-neck sweaters. I've had them folded on a shelf and I forgot about them, which is what happens when I don't hang things. I know it's better for sweaters to fold not hang, but they were creased and wrinkled and now I can't wear them without steaming them. I hung them up to see if the wrinkles fall out somewhat. But I'd like to keep them hung up so I see them and wear them. How terrible is it do this? If I do it, is there a kind of hanger that's best for it? Has anyone hung their Tippis or merino sweaters and not ruined them? thanks !

    1. I'm a sweater hanging heathen! I use the Huggable Hangers for almost all of my sweaters. My Tippis are hanging in the closet and look just fine. Of course I fold the super thick or heavy sweaters so they don't stretch out but the lightweight merino doesn't seem to suffer any from the flocked hangers.

    2. I'm a sweater hanger. All my sweaters look fine (mine are mostly cotton or merino wool blends, no cashmere).

    3. Hang lots of my sweater, too. Light to medium weight, cotton, wool and blends. I've also started folding/rolling and storing my knits as recommended in "The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up". It makes it so easy to see what I have and I find that things don't get 'lost & forgotten'.

    4. I've hang all my sweater now. I used to fold them, because I prefer drawers, but I have a walk in closet now so it's better use of space to hang. TBH I see absolutely no difference with my sweaters whether they be cotton, alpaca, wool, or cashmere.

In general I think my sweaters are more likely to die from everyday wear and tear than from hanger abuse. I mostly use the "huggable" hanger type.

    5. Thanks all! I'm going to try the huggable hangers, hope for the best. Appreciate the help!

    6. Thanks Cate for starting this post. I fold my many and I mean many Tippis but then have creases in the arms and body. I am going to try the Huggable Hangers, they have a Joy Mangano 34-pc on sale at Target for 17.99, so I am going to pick them up.

    7. Do you think it matters what brand of the hangers you use? Or are all the ones with the velvet-y stuff on them about the same? thanks!

      Delete
    8. I have all different brands of the velvet hangers. Target has the Huggable Hangers on sale this week. I only buy the shirt ones; I call them stick hangers. The ones with the bar on the bottom are way too big for my sweaters. TJ Maxx / Marshalls sometimes have box sets of the velvet shirt hangers for super cheap. They are great for t-shirts (esp boat necks) too. I love them.

    9. cate - I use several different brands of the velvet hangers, too. The last ones I purchased were from Costco, and they had been selling a large box of them for $9.95...I think there are about 35 of them in the box, if I remember correctly.

    10. OT, but there's a movie about Joy Mangano starring Jennifer Lawrence that opens Christmas Day. Title is "Joy". Why do I know this? . . . .

  40. Hi everyone!

I am hoping someone here can help me find the style number for the stripe top with fur trim. I mistakenly did not order it the first day of new arrivals and now it's gone. I'm hoping for a pop-back but have no ideas of the style number. Help!

    Thanks :)

  42. Stopped by yesterday, well actually hobbled into my local store. Wore my Gemma Leopard flats for the 2nd time yesterday and they have developed a weird creasing in the toe area in one shoe. I was hoping my store would have my size so I could exchange but they did not, so ordered online while in store and returning the other ones today. Did try on the Drapey Shirt in Clover Print on sale for $59.99 with 40% off but the 2 was too big and they did not have a 0. Also, the zip back sweater did not like at all, so got that out of my system of needing it. I also wanted to check out Perfect Shirt in Stewart Plaid but it is exactly the same IMHO as the perfect shirt in plaid (35236) from Holiday 12 and I already have that shirt.

    1. I also am not wanting the zip back sweater anymore. tried it on it is boxy and cropped...quite short ! I have one plaid shirt and for me that is plenty.
I read an article about the next month and a half of retail shopping. this is the biggest time accts for alot of the revenue for stores.
I do not want any of the coats this year for J crew...I have purchased only a thomas mason shirt this season ( they were showing it with everything in the guides) I am patiently waiting for cyber monday and what comes after that.... sincerely C .

    2. I would try it in the cashmere, but never the wool after touching it in store. It feels like a Brillo pad. I don't mind it being short, the cropped and boxy thing looks cute over camis imo.

  43. I never even saw it in person, but I felt like you could see the cheap, scratchy-ness of the wool right through the computer screen. That sweater is the epitome of J.Crew's recent troubles. Poor materials, unflattering fit (boxy can be fine, but there needs to be some fit elements that make it flattering -- that sweater was just a box with baggy, saggy arms), and over designed (what does the zipper down the entire back add? It's just slapped on there without being interesting or unique or cool -- put a zipper on it).

They are continuing to get a few things right, but the fact that someone trotted that sweater out as a major component of their fall line tells me they have a long way to go.
