  2. Love, love, love my Liberty Peter Pan collar shirt in Saeed floral. The flowers look like tiny pansies - so cute. If you are considering this shirt, I had to go up a size. My regular size was pulling across the shoulders and bust. I don't usually have this issue (32B), but this shirt just seems very narrow on top.

  3. Love my online VPS who always helps me out, tracking things down!

Also, I love the henna Brompton I was able to snag at a great sale price.

Under new items, I really love the wool baseball caps and can't wait to wear them!

  4. Hey, may be OT but have any of you had experience with providing your VPS credit card info to order something online for you?

    1. I have when they've gotten something from another store for me, but for online orders they just need the last four digits. For what it's worth, I've done many charge-sends over the phone from different stores, and have never had an issue after giving them my card number via phone.

  5. After ordering one item as a pop back the other day, I grumbled about having to pay high shipping costs (especially on one thing) and the unfairness of final sale for online shoppers in that bizrate survey that always pops up after an order. A couple hours later, I received a very nice email saying that the CS rep understood my frustration and was refunding my shipping cost. I appreciate that J.Crew took this step to reach out and placate one of their customers.

  6. My FS pj set came in with out a bottom. The CS ordered me a FP set at the price I paid for the original one since my original set was sold out! And she was so nice about it and even gave me options to choose from!

  7. I have never, ever had this happen to me before at any store and I am so freakin' impressed with j.crew right now. I ordered some final sale popback shorts and thenI got the "we are sorry email". I was bummed, but though oh well. I get a call tonight from CS letting me know the item was cancelled, potentially sold out, but would i like for them to do a search? I was shocked! And I felt bad cause I answered the phone in a very snippy voice because I was sure it was a telemarketer (it did not come up j.crew on my caller id). So they are searching, I have zero hope they will find the shorts, but am very impressed with the phone call. I have never even had Nordstrom do anything like that! Way to go to J.crew!!

  8. Just received the tipped wool no. 2 pencil skirt (grey with navy stripe down the sides).

So great! Pockets! I love it - fall needs to get here so I can wear it.
