Extra 20% Off Madewell Sale Styles

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Rose (in this post), who shared the following promotion from Madewell.

Madewell is offering an additional 20% off (no min!) on their Sale items (click here to shop online) and free shipping (on all orders of $100+) with promo code GOODSTUFF. The offer ends Tuesday, March 19, 2013. The fine print includes:
*Offer valid on purchases made at madewell.com from March 15, 2013, 12:01am ET through March 19, 2013, 11:59pm ET only. Offer not valid in Madewell stores or on phone orders. Offer cannot be applied to previous purchases or the purchase of gift cards and cannot be redeemed for cash. To redeem, enter GOODSTUFF in the promo code box at checkout. Limit one promotional code per order. Offer valid in the U.S. and Canada only. Terms of offer are subject to change.

**Free shipping valid on purchases of $100 or more, before taxes are added, made at madewell.com or by phone. Offer cannot be applied to previous purchases or the purchase of gift cards and cannot be redeemed for cash. Free shipping is applied automatically at checkout. Orders will be shipped via regular shipping (3 to 6 business days) and return requests must be made in accordance with our return policy. Offer valid in the U.S. and Canada only. Terms of offer are subject to change without notice.
This is a great time to check out Madewell's sale items from the convenience of your home. My top sale pick this time around is the City Storyteller Scarf (Item 16995; $59.50) now $50.50 (before any promotion is applied).
Confession time: I already own this scarf (and several others like the Parisian version) and highly recommend it. It really does have a vintage, classic feel to it. I just know I will be wearing it years from now too.

Will you be checking out Madewell? Did you already pick up an item or two? If so, please share!

  1. The Promo-Priced items at Madewell also receive the extra 20% off with the GOODSTUFF code. There are a lot of them this week, too. You can see the updated list of Madewell Promo-priced items here on my blog.

  3. The storyteller scarves really are so lovely! Now I am a bit 'hooked' on them and always look for new ones to come out. I have the Parisian storyteller, and did order the City storyteller, but sadly had to return it because the color was just not flattering to my skintone. If it had been in another shade I definitely would have kept it though. Hopefully they will continue to add new designs and colors.

Btw, has anyone seen or own the Mapview Storyteller scarf? I'm curious to know what the 'airy willow' color looks like IRL.

  4. If anyone has a madewell coupon for full price items that they aren't going to use, I would just love it!

  5. Wow that scarf is pretty!

I wish there were a discount on regular priced items. My $25 coupon is barely a drop in my shopping bucket.

  6. I'm with you Phoebe! The $25 definitely helps (it let me grab my first choice item before it sold out in my size - the chambray shirt in linen wash) but there's still so much goodness that I want.. unfortunately I'd be surprised if they had a promo on regular priced items before the $25 off coupons expire on the 31st!

Btw I emailed CS after having an absolutely dreadful time trying to place an order online on Friday (I couldn't call as I'm abroad), and they responded shortly after and ended up applying both my $25 off coupon and the 20% off sale to my order so that I qualified for free shipping, otherwise I would have had to place one order for the regular priced item (using the coupon) and a separate one for the sale items (using the promo code) and pay for shipping on BOTH (separately, they were each under $100). I remain impressed by their customer service.. even though really I think I should have been able to apply both codes online and have the checkout work properly :)

    1. Yeah, I always thought it was silly we could only use 1 promo code. They should just program it so each code works for what it needs to.

  7. In NYC, the Madewell on 5th Ave is having a 20% off ALL clothing sale today. In case anyone can make it before closing :) I bought the Essex Messenger in pink - it wasn't marked at the sale price in the store, but it was online. They price adjusted it for me no problem, + 20% off sale, + student discount. = Happy me.

    1. Ugh. I'm jealous. I don't have a B&M store near me.

I already shopped last weekend and will be going back for Easter in a couple of weeks.

  10. I picked up the skinny skinny ankle jeans in sungarden. Passed on 'em last week, but saw them on a blogger and was sold! The purple is gorgeous in them & I think they'll look super cute with all of my chambray tops.

  11. FFM--the airy willow color of the Mapview scarf was very minty, therefore, I had to have it!
