Jingle {again} All the Way to 30% Off at J.Crew

"Thanks!" to many of you, including GigiOfCa & A Bigger Closet (in this post), as well as Irina, who shared the following offer from J.Crew this morning.

Reminder: This does include free shipping, on any order!!! The offer expires today, Thursday, December 15, 2011. The fine print of this offer includes:

Certain product exclusions may apply. 20% discount applies to qualifying purchases of $100 to $149.99, 25% discount applies to qualifying purchases of $150 to $249.99 and 30% discount applies to qualifying purchases of $250 or more before shipping, handling and taxes are added. Free shipping offer is valid on Internet orders shipped via regular shipping (3 to 6 business days). Free ground shipping is applied automatically at checkout. Cannot be combined with any other promotion or redeemed for cash. Limit one promotional code per order. Terms of offer are subject to change at any time.
At first, I thought this was the same as yesterday and J.Crew just got lazy by extending it a day. But then I saw the free shipping... yeah! :)

There is also a nice update to the Holiday Sale section (click here to shop online) this morning. With over 1,000+ items for Women and 300+ items for Men. Which is great for adding an item or two to one's cart to make a minimum. ;)

Will you be checking out J.Crew? Are there any items you are interested in getting? If so, please share. :)

  1. Always love free shipping! How nice that they are offering it on any order, too. :)

I wanted to remind everyone that the promo-priced items also receive the extra % off with the code. I have the majority of them from the website noted in this post. :)

  2. With this promo I broke down and bought the Hutton trouser in wool check.

I am loving the Hutton pants--after so many years of yanking low-rise pants up over my belly button all day and re-tucking shirts, I love the simple pleasure of being able to tuck a shirt in and have it stay tucked!

I hope J Crew keeps offering some high-waisted pants like these.

  3. Really conflicted about what size to order in the boy shirt in stripe crepe de chine. I'm a 0 in perfect shirts and a 00 in other silk tops without buttons, but since this is a boy shirt, I'm wondering if it fits larger? I've seen some reviews saying it's TTS, others saying it runs a little large. Help please! TIA!

  4. Jackie: I would not size down in the boy shirt in silk crepe de chine. I wear an XXSmall or 0/00 in perfect shirts (depending on the cut) and the size 0 in the silk crepe de chine fit me well. I think the 00 would have been too tight. I would recommend you get the size 0.

  5. Price drops on lots of favorites: vintage thermal tee, valentina patent pumps, stadium-cloth elements (in more colors), nora calf-hair flats, etc. If you're unsure of some pieces, I'd advise getting now, before final sale kicks in.

  6. I'm waiting for after the Holidays too. I can hold out on basic staples, and there isn't any special item I'm seeing now at great prices. I'm still waiting to see if coats drop more.

  7. The Talitha blouse in Royal Paisley was on sale this morning, for $79 I think, or maybe it was $69. Anyway, it's gone now =(

Other items are marked down more in store. The Cambon cardi is now $49.99, the Jenna is now $24.99. The perfect shirt in Royal Paisley is now $39.99. Great deals on nice items (notice how I don't include any of the synthetic sweaters..).

  8. and the 30% additional is also in store, although it's Final Sale there.

  9. Went into a B&M last night; all women's sweaters were an extra 30% off, as was all jewelry. Picked up a gorgeous, new statement necklace. It's peach colored, with alternating pieces of resin and sparkly baubles. Reminiscent of old J Crew to me. Extra 30% sale, which made it final sale.

  10. The Valentina in black walnut just went back up

  11. If you look at the email yesterday, it said this promo was extended through FRIDAY, December 16th. I just went and looked at read emails to check and yes, yesterday it said through Friday, today it says through today.

  12. I am with OperaRach...waiting for something better.

  13. Details of in-store jewelery please!

  14. I caved yesterday and got the Wonderland puffer and two pairs of cords for my husband. Can anyone comment on the general fit of the guy's pants? My husband is about 185 pounds/5'11. I went with the 33/32. Please assure me this was a wise choice :)

  15. I ordered the Index dress and a T-shirt this morning. Never got an order confirmation. Looked at my order history and there's no record of an order being placed today. Tell me, JCAs, what does it mean? If something sells out, when do they let you know?

  16. I wish they would offer the free shipping no (or low) minimum more often. For me, having to spend so much money to get free shipping means I just won't buy anything. I have placed several Madewell orders since they started with free shipping no minimum. Normally, I never order from them because I usually just want one item and I refuse to pay shipping.

Really glad they are offering this!

  17. Amy, your order probably didn't go through. I had a case like that and my order never showed up.
I took advantage of this new version of the promo to order the tassel necklace that finally popped back. So happy and free shipping was enough for me.

  18. @jackie, re: boy shirt in silk crepe de chine. I wear a size 2 in perfect shirts and bought the same size in the boy shirt. While it is a bit roomier in the bust & torso and I could have sized down, I think part of the boy shirt's appeal is the blousy, slouchy look. The silk drapes beautifully so even though there's extra fabric on the sides, it doesn't look big or oversize at all. A plus is there is no button gaping at the bust.

I really like this shirt and hope they come out with variations in the spring, and in petite sizes.

  19. Connor and FFM,

Thanks for your advice, ladies! I went ahead and ordered the 0; hopefully it won't be too loose and slouchy. Thanks again! :)

  20. Price cuts, in-store price notes & irl pic links in this post. Some in-store info quickly...liquid silk skirts $29.99, enamel bracelets wide $19.99, thin, $12.99, end-on-end shirt w/french cuffs $29.99 (irl pics... 30% off in-stores, making items final sale.

    It just gets crazier.

  21. Some in store prices (before 30% off) Flair skirts $49, Royal paisley skirt $79, No2 pencil skirt all colors (except in-store-only violet) $79, gold cafe capri in wool $79, cotton cafe trousers $29, Boulevard coat $229. I actually bought an item with 30% off and it was not marked final sale on receipt but that was probably just an SA mistake.

  22. If anyone sees any colored wool No. 2 pencil skirts in their store in a sz. 10 or 12 or Lady Lace Popover in sz. L, could you please let me know which one or put them on hold? Thanks so much in advance!

  23. Wow, those are some crazy in-store prices!

  24. If any of you JCA's picked up the medium Saturday Pants that jumped out of my cart as I went to checkout, congratulations to you b/c those stupid pants are SO AWESOME. I bought them as a ride-along and I hope that J.Crew keeps them in the weekend collection b/c I want another pair, and I'll pay full price to get them. Seriously, SO comfortable.

  25. I think the Metro coat is cute. Was there a discussion suggesting that the Lady Day was a better option?

We should have a "coat round-up" as I feel in my bones that a major coat sale is going to happen soon, and we will all be scrambling to place our orders.

Any feedback now is helpful. I did buy the Elements coat yesterday, but I'll do another dress coat w/thinsulate once they get to an irresistible price.

  26. Whitney, you tipped me into buying those pants just now. I've heard alot of good reviews. Now I'm stalking them in the heather midnight as I had to buy black in my size.

  28. Love the free shipping. Wish J.Crew would do this more without a minimum. Keep waiting for my size to pop up in the
Stadium-cloth boulevard trench in the saddle color. No luck so far, but did notice that maraschino cherry color is available now in certain sizes. Hope I can score this coat soon for a decent price and in my size. Fingers crossed!

  29. In-store prices are much better than online? Not fair to those with petite frame!

    ReplyDelete
  30. @AA, go instore and request a red phone order with the instore prices. My store is tiny and I refuse to miss out on deals because they don't carry anything! Good luck.

Thank you ladies for the instore prices!

Anyone know what the instore prices are on the academy coat and double cloth townhouse coat are?

    ReplyDelete
  31. @ pathos: The Heather Midnight are the ones that I have, and I want the black ones next. I'll take any color that pops back, though.

If Ryan Gosling asked me to take these pants off, I'd have to think about it first. THAT'S how comfortable they are ;)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Whitney- I think I'd take them off. BUT, I will stalk them for you in Blk/Mdm along with mine :>

    ReplyDelete
  33. SEEKING: cafe capris in harvest tweed, size 6, camel coral - the pattern w/purples & pinks, not the pattern w/the green

If you see them, will you put them on hold and email me?

  34. No longer seeking the capris. Got it. :)

  35. I was in a Seattle area J.Crew store today and was told that the entire store will be 30% off tomorrow. Not sure if that extends to red phone orders and online or not. But, they were offering the discount to at least some customers today!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Haha Whitney...those pants are the best. I have heather midnight as well and have thought about buying another pair myself! If anyone is on the fence, I say go for it.

  40. TOTALLY agree w/Pathos-- I need a coat review round up too! Esp. re: the metro vs. Lady Day, both w/ Thinsulate. Pls help!

  41. @MegCrew
I did not know that! I thought red phone is just for free shipping. Aw I completely missed out!!!

Does anyone know what the store price of No.2 pencil skirt in wool is?

    ReplyDelete
  42. @ajc,

No2 pencil skirt all colors (except in-store-only violet) $79

    Is this wool ones?

  43. Pathos, those Saturday pants are available now in every size in Heather Midnight! It looks like they updated lots of other things overnight as well.
