J.Crew Email: FACTORY ONLINE IS OPEN: NEW ARRIVALS + FREE SHIPPING ON ALL FACTORY ITEMS

"Thanks!" to many of you, including egyptomaniac, & minzunuami (in this post), as well as Irina & Anne, who shared the email from J.Crew this morning.

The email announces that new arrivals are now available at J.Crew Factory (click here to shop online). More exciting news... they are offering free shipping on all Factory items!!! The fine details of the offer are as follows:
*Free shipping applies to J.Crew Factory items in online orders only. Offer does not apply to previous purchases. Free shipping offer is valid for a limited time on J.Crew Factory Internet orders only, shipped via regular shipping (3 to 6 business days). Free ground shipping on J.Crew Factory items is applied automatically at checkout.
What are your thoughts on J.Crew's Factory new offerings? Will you check them out?

  1. I'll check them out once I see a further percentage off. ;)

  2. I'm excited about more of the Spring items. Some of the previews left me flat, but I am hopeful now.

  3. Too bad this isn't on the regular J.Crew site instead of the Factory store.

  4. It looks like this is going to be a regular offer like on Crewcuts. That's great news since it is such a hassle to return Factory items.

  5. Ema, ITA. Most of us live nowhere near a factory B&M... and thus can't try on or return the items. Good for J.Crew for doing this.

  6. If anyone is considering the Factory potpurri watercolor mini (37534), it is very nice. The material is a nice crisp, substantial cotton.

The factory stripe saturday pants are also really cute. They are really lightweight which is not apparent from the complete lack of proper item description on factory items.

The factory rainy day ballet flats look totally identical to last year's retail version, yay! I already have pink and black but clearly, I need another pair :)

  7. I haven't checked out the Factory section but considering how overpriced it is online VS actual crewlet I wouldn't be shopping unless they offered 40% off or so.

  8. I've never been a Factory fan but took the plunge today with free shipping on the cotton medallion dress (thanks Elaine for bringing it to our attention). I missed out on that pattern last year and am crossing my fingers that the cotton will be a nice quality.

  9. It's a smart way to get rid of the inventory. But still overpriced.

  10. That Medallion dress is really cute. I also wanted to say that I bought the Factory Cotton Candy pencil skirt during the last % off promo and it's really cute! Fits great too. But I don't think I'd have bought it if I didn't get it w/a % off promo.
