This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale
items at our
various local J.Crew stores. ;)
If
you are stopping
by a J.Crew store this weekend to see
what's available (if
anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in
person, maybe you might be
willing to share that with us in this
post. In particular, if you could
share with us a few of the
noteworthy items that are available, at
what prices, and potential sizes
the store is carrying (as well
as the store location)- that would be
fantastic!
Also,
please let us know if your local store is
carrying an additional percent
off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)
P.S.
I noticed that many of
you have already been reporting sale
items (and in which stores) in
other posts which by the way "thank
you!" :) I really appreciate how
helpful we are for each other!

Dear J.Crew Aficionadas & Aficionados: Please feel free (and encouraged) to share your thoughts and opinions. :) However, please note that this is still a personal blog. So comments that are considered inappropriate (e.g. obscene, racist, homophobic, personal attacks, rude, and just plain mean) will be removed.
And now back to J.Crew! :)
i have some returns to do. i tried one of the one-piece bathing suits (Item BF083)... i think it's really cute but the fit was a disaster!
ReplyDeleteWent to my store to try a few things. Posted pics in the unofficial JCA FB group.
ReplyDeleteClassic fit western chambray shirt in rinse BG079: this runs small! I love the fabric on this. It’s a lighter weight denim or a heavier chambray. It will wear in nicely.
Relaxed fit washed cotton…BG295. I love these relaxed shirts even if the cut is not for everyone. This is a 6 and what I like in this style. Not sure about this ashen quartz stripe. The cotton is a nice weight and for the online sale price I think it’s a good deal.
Tie waist linen blend cargo pant BG122. Size 4—the smallest my store had. I am usually a 0/00 but tightened the drawstring and I was able to wear them higher on the waist. There was definitely extra fabric but overall I typically feel this type of pant can feel short on my torso so maybe sizing up helped. These are great vacation pants! Comfy for travel and can be dressed up a little or down. I just got other olive pants I love but I may buy these later in the season.

Have a couple of in store pick ups, so I will stop in this weekend. Ordered Vintage cotton pressed-flower crewneck T-shirt in navy and Slim-fit organic cotton shirt in Liberty® Georgia Duke print.
ReplyDelete@mygoddy would love to hear what you think about the navy flower tee--I couldn't tell if it would be funky or fussy looking. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHello @Mary G, I think it's a colorful tee that will work well with green linen suit from last year; I can also wear with jeans and a cardigan. Definitely not fussy :). Would definitely recommend.
DeleteI have both the white version and the navy of the flower tee. The white has a little bit of a slub texture and is slightly sheer, the navy is more regular/opaque. Both are great, I think the navy might be less prone to pilling in the long run. Hope you both enjoy the tee and find it to be a keeper like I did!
Delete@mygoddy @alyssa thanks to you both. I'll try the tee.
DeleteI was digging around this site this AM, picked up some mens tees for my teen son (I do like that JC has a men's tall size) and some socks for myself, thrilling. Rare for me, but there is nothing I'm price-watching on the site currently. Nothing I'm even putting on the save for later list. Maybe it's the cold weather/late Spring where I am. I'd like a new chambray popover but JC hasn't had those in a while. Will have to scout around posh or ebay maybe.
