I received the new mushroom tee from last week's promo. The mushrooms are cute (I'm a sucker for pseudo scientific illustrations) but the tee is thinner than ever and it's really short and a little boxy. It looked more like it would fit a stocky 10-year-old boy when I took it out of the package. I'm short waisted, so I can wear my usual XS, but it would be a problem for almost anyone else, unless you fancy the idea of a cropped mushroom tee.
ReplyDeleteFunny review. I ordered one of Boden’s Turn Up Cuff Cotton T-Shirts (T0884-CRM) with their 20% off promo last week. It hasn’t arrived yet but they look cute. I’m not talking about the day of the week shirts but the fruit shirts.

@ST I've been looking at those fruit tees at Boden. Their quality is superior to J. Crew's and they've been getting a little less mummy every year. They did tees several years ago with digital photos. I got one of the Italian coast and wish I'd bought several. They reminded me of the expensive Agnes B. digital prints that I covet.
DeleteI just received a knit dress and a swim suit from boden that I like much better than anything equivalent from J. Crew. I’ll take another look at the fruit tees.
DeleteI just got Bodens catalog today and liked A LOT of what I saw - cute prints and spring dresses. Their sizing is always a puzzle to me but I have been trusting their predictive size thing by item. I ordered a bathing suit last year from them and it got my size right, and the quality was significantly better than JC swimwear.
