Today I received my insider $25 from Madewell. I’ve spent less at Madewell this past year. I just bought a pair of Reid pumps and ordered the belt bag for Mother’s Day, aside from that I’m not really finding much that works for me, so I ordered whisper cotton muscle tanks in black and white. I do like the tees a lot and they wash well.

ReplyDeleteThoughts on bikini top sizing? I’m hoping to get the Ring-front scoopback bikini top in Ratti® scribble floral (Item K7313) if it goes on extra % off tomorrow. I’m a 36B, wondering if the sizing chart recommendation of size M is accurate as I’m normally a 12 or L in J.Crew clothing. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI wear a 34A or 32C bra depending on manufacturer and stye and wear S in the J Crew French bikini top. I find the XS bikini top doesn't have enough coverage in the front (and I am modestly endowed). The Crew French bikini top styles have an adjustable band at the back so you can make the band smaller (like you would with a bra). I looked at the Ratti scribble floral - is the band adjustable? I couldn't tell from the picture on the website. I know returning is a pain, but maybe you could order two sizes if you are not sure?
Thanks for the feedback. I don’t think the band is adjustable. I’ll consider ordering both sizes the next time the price drops, but I’d prefer not to as I don’t have a local return option.
