I still don’t understand the SOGOOD code. It’s not sogood. It doesn’t work.
ReplyDeleteSOBAD.
DeleteI still don't understand why they can't ship on a timely basis. I have now received "Update: Your order is on schedule" emails on every outstanding order I have, including the one that is supposed to be delivered tomorrow.
I finally received my April 12 order yesterday. Shipping has been really slow.
Delete@shopalot, I remember you posting about that, so glad to hear it worked out. Thanks for posting, I'm a little more positive about my own orders now. A little...;)
DeleteHappy to report that everything shipped but a lot of it is going back. The Point Sur shoreditch straight jean in bright worn wash was a big fail. The leg isn't straight enough and not nearly long enough for me (5'6). The jeans looked great on my backside but the short length and wider leg just looked terrible on me. They are super high rise. I'm also returning the eyelet Jackie cardigan. I should have read the fabric content; didn't realize it contained poly and wool. It feels a little plastic-y to me and looks a bit shorter than my other Jackies. Happy that my gingham Jackie shipped!
DeleteI’ve tried SoGood on a few items and it’s working on them. Now I have to convince myself that I do NOT need another Harper satchel, even for $130 CAD.
DeleteI ordered my husband a shirt that was marked "50%" where the code did not apply. CS did apply it manually.
DeleteYeah, it totally didn't work for me. And then the extra 50% off sale also didn't work. Whatever. They're just clueless.
DeleteI received the Eyelet Beach Poncho J3808 in Navy last week. I really love the fabric, but I’m not sure about the poncho cut. I wasn’t expecting a fitted garment, but I thought the soft fabric would somehow mitigate the boxy cut into something more flattering. Instead it’s more sack-like than flowy (albeit, a very pretty sack). I thought it might be useful beyond the pool/beach over a summer dress or even jeans, but I’m not sure this stye is for me.
ReplyDeleteReceived a "news" email about the Drake's silk d'Orsay pumps I ordered. Don't know if I should try to be glad (I've ordered too many shoes) or sad (they were so nice). The Stubbs and Wooton mules did ship. I'm actually planning to wear these as slippers - does anyone know if they are comfy enough for that? I did order up from my normal size, because mules are so often too small.
ReplyDeleteOrders are taking much longer to ship than usual - not thrilled. I saw the pic of the lace-trimmed top online today and I'm not sure if I'll like it - seems boxy. Will write a review when I get it.
ReplyDeleteCan anyone confirm whether the current Liberty Kayoko floral shirt is identical to the one from 2-3 years ago? I assume it is, as Liberty only makes that print in 3 colors, blue, purple and green, and both of the J.Crew shirts are predominantly blue.
ReplyDeleteI have both Kayokos - the previous one has green in it. The current one is predominantly blue.
Delete@shopalot - Thanks for the info on the Liberty Kayoko prints. It’s impossible to accurately evaluate the colors on my tiny phone screen. I love the one I have. If the new one seems too similar, at least it’s not final sale.
DeleteI love the print, so I had no problem with ordering the new one once it hit sale. I admit I ordered the bucket hat, too. Still waiting on that to ship, though.
DeleteMy back orders from 3/13 and 4/02 shipped. Still no movement from 3 pairs of sale shoes last week.
ReplyDeleteWhy is Madewell still trying to sell winter clothes now? Come on. It's May next week.
