Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. Anyone know when the next big roll-out will launch? I’m guessing it’ll be early before Black Friday...to have the Holiday merchandise in??

  2. so i'm totally confused about whether or not i have a rewards card.

    i got an email that said i have a $20 rewards. but it didn't give any card info (just said log in and it'll be there). i log in but it says i'm both 1 point away from another reward, that i have 799 points but no reward. now i returned a bunch of stuff so i'm certain that some adjustments need to be made... but do i have a rewards or not? i can't figure it out.

    1. This has been happening to me since they switched over to the new rewards program.
      I don't have the energy to figure it out.

    2. Same - I got an email that said I had $35 in rewards (no card info) but when I logged in there were $0 in rewards.

      I have a Gap Visa and after you earn enough points for the reward, it's issued pretty quickly and doesn't expire for 6 months or so. Rewards don't disappear once they've been issued, even if you return something that you earned points on. If you buy something with rewards and return it you don't get the rewards back, but they're converted back to points. This makes a little more sense than whatever JC is trying to do.

  3. Today's 'flash' promo. 35% off. just today. if free shipping for Canada had been given...I might have placed an order. but really still no % off sale. just silly IMO. bring on the next roll out. so bored with it all.

  4. FYI for Canadian JCA's. with Canada Post rotating strikes...looks like pkgs are being given longer/delayed shipping notices. just received on for back ordered item. good reason to not order.

    1. I have two packages in limbo, wish Jcrew would have accounted for the strike when they shipped out as it was starting then. Other retailers have at least mentioned it on their site and are using other couriers.

    2. I Had an order for the Gap delivered by UPS today. appreciated it. Gap is always free shipping over $50. again pretty good service.

    3. Looks like it’s gotten worse since the weekend. IG posts indicate website hasn’t been working for several hours. Maybe we will get a %off sale to make it up to us LOL!

  6. I posted a couple days ago about reordering the Parke English wool and English herringbone wool blazers now that they're eligible for promos. I ordered with 30% off and requested a price adjustment to include the additional 20% off for cardholders, for a total discount of 44%. I'm so pleased to have been able to purchase these nice blazers for this price. They're well worth it IMO.

    1. Is the extra 20 still going on? I don’t understand why, as a card holder, the discount goes from 15 to 20 to nothing at all so randomly - no emails, no banners on the site - it’s maddening!

  7. Aside from the continuing website issues, one thing I can't stand is you cannot logically find the details for the promos. At least you used to be able to click and get the info. Now nothing,

  8. Received an email from Jcrew stating We’re Back with a countdown clock and 1 hour plus countdown for 35% off. Website not working 4:38 a.m. European time. Absurd. With the site having been down for most of the day I only see more woes for the company. So much for strengthening their online presence.
