Thanks for posting that. I actually put several items on my wishlist this time! I love the slim perfect shirt in the blue Liberty D'Anjo floral. I have one in pink from a few years ago and I think I like the blue even better. Also, I really like the painted regatta midi skirt.
DeleteAnd I'm interested to hear how the high-rise slim boy chino pants fit. I have such a hard time finding the exact perfect fitting rise. I want something that doesn't go so high that it hits my ribcage but also doesn't go so low that my butt crack shows when I bend over. Is that too much to ask?
After seeing all the fruit items I wasn’t too impressed but this rollout has some really nice looking pieces. Love the bow tie shorts and the high low longer merino cardigans.

Delete@silver_lining; I got a "VIP" code as well. Everything I put in my cart was excluded. The only items the code applied to were select arrivals from the last few rollouts, nothing from the newest one. What was the point of the email?

ReplyDeleteHeading in a better direction. However, I'm baffled at the lack of summery tops. The 3/4 and long sleeve Liberty shirts are great and quite versatile but why not create a sleeveless version? And why not put out some sleeveless or cap-sleeved work tops with some elegance? It's almost May now and all they've done for summery tops is put out a linen wrap top and a few casual T shirts.
ReplyDeleteITA. The Liberty sleeveless tank in symphony floral was/is popular and I’m sure it was much, much cheaper to manufacture than the long sleeve shirts. I’d have liked to see them in a variety of colors and prints.

DeleteAgree. I keep hoping for a solid short sleeve machine wash top and they keep putting out graphic t-shirts and oversize boxy sleeveless tops. I don't mind oversize boxy sleeveless, but that doesn't pair great with high rise wide leg.
DeleteAlso to whoever commented before about Jcrew not using their extensive color library, I couldn't agree more. There are several options that if only they were offered in another color other than black, navy, white, and red, I'd be excited about. How about some non-primary colors like rust red, or a muted yellow, or taupes or nudes for both cool and warm undertones.
Definitely better than the last rollout. I’m craving prints and summery colors. Don’t see any must-haves right now but a good promo will tempt me.
DeleteI agree with others that I like a few more items than the last few rollouts but really those items are all the Liberty shirts. It is a double edge sword. While I like the new Liberty prints I already own enough long sleeve versions that I can maybe justify purchasing one. Other than that I put the Eyelet dress on my wishlist but do not need a dress unless it goes on super sale. Also as others stated why send out a VIP code that works on virtually nothing?

Take away the Liberty and Ratti prints and you get another bland roll out from the Crew. J.Crew, you really need to hire a creative director....STAT.
