  3. CS has been super chipper about processing all my PA requests lately. No problems whatsoever. All done over email so I don't have to worry about who I get on the phone.

Also all the sales associates at the Columbus Circle NYC store (my "home" store) have been super friendly and helpful over the past few months. Great customer service!

    1. Cass, I love Angela at the Columbus Circle store! She's petite like me and is always honest about what looks good and what doesn't.

    2. I haven't learned their names yet (need to), but I bring all my returns in there and they are always friendly about it, never a hint of an attitude. They handled a free alteration for me (even though item was sale) and also last night tracked down a completely sold out skirt for me from one of the collection stores and set me up with a charge-send even though the collection store was already closed. :)

    3. That's awesome service!! I usually bring my returns in there as well, since this location is easier for me to access during my lunch break. I made sure to buy my Drake's giraffe top from there so that Angela would get the commission.

    4. Is Angela your official stylist, or do all sales associates get commission?

    5. TBH, i'm not sure whether all of the stylists receive commission or not. I have a feeling that not all of them do receive commission though. Usually when I'm checking out and the SA asks whether anyone helped me, that SA will look up the stylist name and (I assume) punch in a commission code for them. Angela said she's been with JC for a long time (I want to say over 20 years) and she's there everyday, except Mon & Tues. (unless there is a new rollout). There is another very nice SA there, but I forgot her name.

  4. I love the Ryder pants, the style, the fit, the length.. I have two pairs and they do stretch out differently during the day, but not too bad. I've been looking for similar pants as the colors on mine started to fade (due to machine washing), but have not been able to find good alternatives. I've tried the Minnie, Martie, Maddie but they are either too short, too fitted, or not structured enough, plus size zippers just don't do my tummy any favor (esp when tugging in). Anybody else love the Ryders too and have found good alternatives for them?

    1. Yes!! This describes my situation exactly. I own 3 pairs of Ryders; one that totally stretched out, one that's fine, and one that has a weird tear on the seam I haven't fixed yet. A colleague told me about the Old Navy Pixie, believe it or not, and I've been happy with them as a replacement. I haven't had any issues with my black or navy pairs stretching out, and they wash just fine. Oh, and the price is nice :-)

    2. I have a pair of dark brown Ryders that I had hemmed to 27" & they are GREAT. I don't know what to do when they wear out! (Why are dark brown pants so hard to find?) Like Monica Bonica I am very pro-Pixie as well - wearing a pair today in fact. And yesterday. And the day before. :) They're so cheap but are machine washable, wear well, don't stretch, & come in LOTS of great colors & prints.

    3. Taylor, I've seen in the past that you are an ON Pixie pant enthusiast. I am too. They are so comfortable, have just the right amount of 2-way stretch and come in great prints at a good price. I do find I need to try multi pairs in the same size as the batch cutting can result in big differences between pants marked with the same size label.
My only problem is in the wet Pacific North West, with ankles too chilly to go sockless, I struggle to style them in winter. In warmer weather I pair them with ballet flats, Martina wedges or Vans without socks. Do you have a winter Pixie styling suggestion - a shoe shape/ look that includes socks?

    4. I will definitely try the ON Pixie pants. Thanks for the recommendation ladies!
