Anyone seen IRL the new Lady Jacket in pink, that was just released yesterday? Thoughts? How's the fit, and color?
Someone posted a pic on IG last week, the peplum one, right? she said the tweed was already pulling in some areas. I haven't seen it.

DeleteYes that was me who posted it. It looked sad on the hanger, not as much structure as other lady jackets and the wider neckline seemed off. The weave was loose and had pulls in some areas. But if you want to try it may as well do it now before it ends up in final sale.

DeleteWhen do u think the black liberty skirt will go on sale? It's excluded from promos... I've never bought any liberty prints. Do they generally go on sale eventually? I never pay full price at J crew!
ReplyDeleteLiberty goes on sale at the same rate as non liberty items do.
DeleteYeah, it's interesting because the Liberty items are often excluded from promos but do get marked down regularly. If you look at the sale section their are a lot of Liberty items. I bought the willtshire print bikini last July for less than half price and I noticed that the it is full price now. How patient are you is the question? ;) Maybe try the skirt to make sure you really like it and to know what size you will need (that is, if you haven't already).

DeleteReceived Collection leather sheath dress with ruffles. This was on my wishlist during fall release and it's now on sale. Leather quality is excellent and the design is well done. I'm not a huge fan of ruffles, but the ruffle details on the dress are a nice accent that adds visual interest. I was worried about the length, but it's not an issue.
ReplyDeleteAlso received linen off shoulder dress in neon capri (pink). This is going to be a really cute cover up. Can also be worn as a dress, since it's not super sheer. It does run big; i ordered down one size with a small and probably could pull off an xs without a problem. Can't wait to wear for spring/summer and on vacation. Pink color is $18 + 20% off.
I know some aren't a fan of this promo, but I've found a few gems (free shipping is a bonus) like the cover up, Carrie cami in vintage cabernet (beautiful color and love these tops with jeans and leather capris), Thomas Mason grosgrain ribbon shirt and mixed stripe nightshirt (looks great with Le Frame high/low jeans and Vince suede leggings in navy).
