ReplyDeletei recently bought the heavyweight tee ($40) and the pleated skirt ($88) both in black.
Tee: the black in this is more faded. wish it were a richer black, but other than that, LOVE IT. it really is a nice heavyweight cotton tee. slight drop shoulder which you can't really tell in the solid color. i normally float between XS and S in jcrew and i went with the small in this. i have way too many stripes so i hope they make this tee in other solid colors.
pleated skirt: rich black. elastic waist which is folded under the waist. (it's really hard to see in the photos how the waist is set up) button closure at the side of the waist with a hidden zipper. I'm 5'4" so it's a little below my knees (true midi)... debating on whether i should keep the length or see if i can have it altered a little bit to fall more at my knees. very comfortable and pleats lay well at the waist (no added bulk)
the size charts are spot on. i've been loving everything i've gotten from everlane. :)
Good call, sizing up in the tee! Mine shrank a little in the wash, just enough to make the arms to short/tight for comfort. I'd love to see Everlane make more items in the US again. I'm hoarding their made-in-Calif sweatshirts from a few years ago!
