I have the postcard print linen halter dress from several years ago. I still love the print, but find I rarely wear the dress as it's very low cut. Any ideas on how I could "fill in" the neckline so that it would be less revealing?
ReplyDeleteYou could find some material in a solid color that was complementary and sew it in in place.
Deleteshopgrrrl, how about a pretty camisole, with a little lace covering your decolletage? Or a good tailor?
DeleteIf you're working with halter straps, you might look at a bandeau. I like Luxette's idea of having some material sewn in place. Good luck :)
DeleteI'm not familiar with the dress, but maybe you could mine some material from the hem of the dress to place at the neckline?
DeleteI usually use a cami or tank top to solve this kind of problem. I've also found a bra with lace that goes straight across, so the lace peaks out a bit and fills in the space that is too revealing for me.
