"Looking to LOVE" with J.Crew

This is the weekly "Looking to LOVE with J.Crew" post, a place to share our favorite experiences with J.Crew.

  2. I have a love!

    I recently ordered and received the Collection suede flight jacket (E8937) after seeing a fellow JCA's review on her Insta. (More on that in a minute.) The suede on the jacket is super soft, the lining is pretty and the fit is what it should be. I bought the item on sale and was able to use my rewards towards the purchase so bought it a very favorable price. Can't wait to wear this item come fall!

    My second love -- shout out and a big thanks to JCA maqsadshop for her Insta review of this jacket (which I hadn't even noticed before!) and for her thorough counseling in trying to help me guesstimate which size would be the best fit for me. Everyone's reviews, blog posts and Instas are really helpful and I am really appreciative of this community! It's nice to see/hear from real users, rather than just go by website descriptions and/or item photos. My wardrobe thanks you!

    Lastly, I'll second Maryeb's comment above re) shipment speed. I also recently placed a One-Item order on May 20th and received it yesterday, May 25th, super fast!

    (In the not-so-chipper news, the dress that I left at my local JC for hemming appears to be missing -- I spoke to a manager this morning and they're trying to track down its whereabouts since it's been two weeks....dun dun DUN! Stay tuned for the conclusion of this ongoing saga...!)

  3. Got my gold Quorra flats out for the first time since last summer, these shoes are so pretty, they make any outfit feel special!

  4. After sending an email to JCrew's customer service they made a price adjustment to some items I had purchased online a few days before the sale. It is how it should be with every retailer but they made it very easy. FYI, "We honor price adjustments within 7 days of the ship date, so I am happy to process the adjustment for you."
