ReplyDeleteI was hoping to post a couple of Gap reviews, but I'm still waiting for delivery on an order that was shipped on September 13th! I hate their notoriously slow shipping.

Super cute style but I really dont like the fabrics. I just cancelled an order yesterday because I didnt realize till after that the merino wool cardi I ordered had only 25% merino wool in it!
DeleteWas excited about that new BR launch -- been reading they were planning to go in a more casual direction. I only saw 2 or 3 things I liked in the new arrivals section this AM. Still, I like they styling they've been doing.
DeleteI'm waiting on a gap order too! They had a wool midi skirt which was so surprising to see from them, had to try it out!
I tried to order from GAP recently, had so much trouble with the web site and confusion about GAP rewards and Banana Luxe rewards. Called customer service, finally just gave up. GAP was really annoying last time I ordered too, I received underwear in lots of different shipments. Ridiculous!
DeleteEchoing Cate's frustration with BR rewards, specifically their birthday reward ($15 off) which can only be used at BR and can't be combined with any other offer -- eg, their frequent 40% off promos. Not very "rewarding" in my book.

ReplyDeleteI will be ordering a few of my favourite tees - the slub v-neck pocket tee - item 04346! They have actual sleeves, and aren't too low for larger chests. Slouchy to large in your regular size (haven't sized down for a closer fit, but many reviewers have). No shrinkage (for me anyway) in the dryer. Lots of great colours too!
I also like the legging jeans - and they have lots of great reviews. However, I think there may be inconsistencies in the sizing - I've ordered 3 pairs in the same size, and they ALL fit differently. Super annoying, but the one pair that did fit properly is excellent! Great price at $55.65 with the promo too!

ReplyDeleteFor any JCAs that wear an XSmall or Small at Madewell: the All Weather Outbound Jacket is back in stock here in size XSmall for $29.99 plus free shipping. This is a phenomenal deal on this jacket. I own one in size Medium, which is much too big, but I chose that size to layer. However I could have gone with the small and still be able to layer underneath it. I went ahead and purchased the XSmall because I can wear the regular and camo outbound jackets in XSmall without layers, so I think it will fit and work for the weather here the next month or so and then again in the spring. You can see the jacket on me here. For reference, I usually wear a size XSmall or Small at Madewell.
