Starting Sunday: 30% Off Site-Wide at J.Crew {and check your catalogs!}

A big "thanks!" to wellfedfred (in this post), who let us know the following:
PSA - read this on Madison Avenue Spy: Starting Sunday, J. Crew will offer 30% off site wide using the code WEEKEND. The two-day discount is also available in stores. Some restrictions apply but there aren't many.
One word on this upcoming promotion: Awesomesauce.

It is a little weird that J.Crew would be holding out this promotion for Sunday, but I am excited about it nonetheless. :)

On a different note, "thanks!" to meggs (in this post), who let us know the following:
Just received the newest style guide and there is a promo code for $50 off purchases $150 or more. This offer is good through June 8th. ...it's a bright orange cover with the code on the back by the address label. 
That is an amazing offer!!! So make sure you double check your catalog to see if you have a unique code/offer too.

    Can anyone help. I can't see reviews anymore and had no problem before today on the jcrew site. I use safari. Please help if you can! :)

      Try deleting your browsing history and deleting all cookies, closing out Safari, and then re opening.

    Have been looking at the Jenny Jean and wondering how they fit? How does the Rosewood wash appear IRL? Any advice would be appreciated.

    We don't get the style guide up here any more, so no chance of a coupon, but then the 30% off is pretty good.

    Just tried to use the code on the herringbone dress and a pair of soludos. Offer only applies to select items, and these two were not included.

      A Guy, a Girl, and a Hammer - I would try the code again in another 30-60 minutes. The Soludos might still be excl, but the code might work on the dress.

    Yes, I was disappointed to see that it's not a true site-wide code as was touted in the "press leaks." And it's not working on a lot of the items where the code is actually mentioned in the individual description. Phooey.

    Same here. It wasn't working for some of the items that it should. Since I am on the west coast will try it again, in a little bit. And I am disappointed that it is not site wide. I might wait till another promo appears for the couple of things I want.

    The code will probably start working at 12a EST. I'm sure a phone rep will apply the discount if you want to place the order now.

    The promo is still not working properly at 03:25 AM EST. It seems like the promo is working on items from the previous promo, but not the new ones. Wish they test out their website before changing the promo info.

    Sometimes, being 6 hours ahead in Europe has its advantages, but today not so much ;-).

      I placed the order and called customer service to have the price adjusted. The CS rep was very helpful and friendly. All worked out. :)

    Just about everything in my cart was excluded from the promo, it's almost basically like the PACKME one with maybe a few extra thrown in.

      Yeah, pretty lame.

      These new exclusions remind me a lot of Banana Republic's "BR Picks" that are constantly excluded from their almost nonstop 40% promos. By the time they're included, I've lost interest.

      The same thing is happening with these items - I've had my eye on the stripe gauze tunic since it rolled out, but it's always been excluded from promos. Now that it's included in WEEKEND, I feel like it'll probably be marked down soon anyway. These exclusions have made me more ambivalent about purchasing.
