Went birthday present shopping for my daughter, but naturally picked up the Merci tee, and two new items (not yet online): "Forest Flower Necklace" for $49.50 and "Jeweled Llama Sweater" for $98.00 for myself.

DeleteHmm - there's a category on the website for "50% off end-of-season items". Many of the items were released very recently in fall roll-outs. Do we think that this will become a semi-permanent sale category?
ReplyDeleteTo my eyes the category is filled with Collection items that are not selling combined with nice but summery items (half packet dress and ponte dresses) that were released in September, long after some folks were done with buying lightweight clothes.
And JC needs to put some of these items out of their misery. The acid daisy shorts, with their 1" inseam and $129 price tag, are not going to sell in November (especially in larger sizes).

ReplyDeleteIf you can fit into smaller sizes, zara online has good options and free ship and returns! Just bought Zara girls fur vest with belt in natural for $39.90. I'm a jcrew size 00/XS and the girls XL (12-13yrs) was too large...fit more like a jcrew size S/M

Hi tcv14 - I'm actually wearing them now. I thought they fit TTS when I bought them, but after wearing them a few times they definitely stretched in the waist and I'm thinking maybe I should have sized down. They still work with a belt, and I like the wash - maybe I'll grab a size down if they ever go down enough in price. HTH!
DeleteI don't know if they are the same ones, but I tried on the straight leg jeans in the store very recently and they ran quite large. 28 was the right size for me (still roomy) when I'm wearing 29 or 30 otherwise.
