Awww, no love for the Crew?
ReplyDeleteI must say that I am very pleased with my trouser pant in white wool flannel (07561). I am one of the people who loves wearing white/ winte white/ ivory during winter and had been on the search for full length wool trousers in this chic winter hue for some time. These definitely fit the bill and my price point. They are well made and thankfully not see through. Fits true to size and it's the actual length as posted by cfs. It's sold out now but I recommend snapping it up if it pops back. A great classic that should ever go out of style.
CS turned a disappointing experience into a love for me today... I ordered lots (blush!) of popbacks the other night when the sale section was on steroids. One of the items was oversold, but instead of the 'sorry we didn't make enough' email, I got a phone call from CS offering to find an alternative item for me. While I needed what I had ordered, there was a scarf I really liked that had gone on sale and disappeared; they found it and shipped it for free. Love!
ReplyDeleteWanted a necklace that was sold out online, so I decided to call nearby stores. I didn't have the item number for the SA to look up, but she was very diligent and found ways to override the system in order to find the item number. It took over 13 minutes of looking up their internal store catalog, etc and in the end I had my item number! Since they didn't have the necklace, I found it at the SF store. The manager shipped it for free and honored my teacher discount! How nice and unexpected was that? My experience was very positive and I'm happy to be getting the necklace on Monday!
ReplyDeleteGoing with a few returns, specifically the colorblock intarsia sweater among other things. I had high hopes for this one, it looked so clean and lovely on the screen but in reality its very thin and the white sections are as bit sheer which makes it look cheaper. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteI am in the market for a new blazer and I would love to get the schoolboy blazer. But every time I go in to try one on, I am disappointed in the fit. I fall between a 00 and a 0. The 00 definitely looks fitted (which is what I am looking for), but it is tight in the shoulders and the sleeves are a bit short. Perhaps this is normal? The 0 is probably more comfortable, but it's so boxy. Any one have input on sizing for the schoolboy? I want something comfortable and fitted. Is that too much to ask for?
ReplyDeleteFinally received the monk strap loafers in faded barn and love them! Nothing from the past few months' at JC has interested me until these shoes. Well-made, beautiful and comfy. Thank you JC!
