InStyle + J.Crew = 25% Off Your Purchase {wahoo!}

"Thanks!" to many of you, including Marietta, as well as Bug Pin (in this post) who shared the following news/ email from J.Crew with us.

J.Crew is offering InStyle readers a special treat: 25% off your entire purchase. To take advantage of this offer online, use promo code INSTYLE25. For in store purchase, just click on the image above or HERE (which will take you to a larger version of the image) and print it out. This offer expires October 15, 2013. The fine print includes:
*Offer valid on purchases made in J.Crew stores and at jcrew.com from October 1, 2013, 12:01am ET through October 15, 2013, 11:59pm ET. Offer not valid in the 769 Madison Avenue store, Ludlow Shops, Liquor Store, J.Crew Factory stores, at jcrewfactory.com or on phone orders. Offer cannot be applied to previous purchases or the purchase of gift cards and cannot be redeemed for cash or used in combination with any other offer. Offer not valid on third-party branded merchandise, Ludlow suits, wedding gowns, select Collection merchandise, High Line collaboration merchandise and women's leather styles (not including shoes and bags). Present a copy of this email at the register to redeem in stores. To redeem online, enter code INSTYLE25 in the promo code box at checkout. Limit one promo code per order. Offer valid in the U.S. and Canada only. Terms of offer are subject to change.
This is a great promotion- much better than the sweater offer that is currently running. Plus, it will be around for a long time... score! :)

PLEASE READ BEFORE USING! Many JCAs have reported in this post, that the code is not working for online orders. Surprising since this promo has been up for several hours (I thought it would have been fixed by now). Shopalot (in this post) shares: "Apparently J Crew is having issues applying the INSTYLE25 code today. If you want to place an order, call customer service (or use the live chat feature) and they will take care of you." So until the code works online, try calling customer service (1-800-562-0258) when placing your order.

    Just tried this code on the Tall Schoolboy Blazer I can't seem to pull the trigger on, and it says the code is "not valid or has expired".

    Sad face.

    Hi everyone! I just updated the post letting JCAs know that J.Crew hasn't fixed their back end to recognize the code online. :( Shopalot came up with a good workaround until they fix it: either calling J.Crew (800-562-0258) or using the online chat feature to place orders with the promo code. :)

    The sale discount in store is going up to 40% off tomorrow and new items are being added - the silk tossed heart shirt and the two-tone zip cardigan are two that I noticed that will be 40% off the sale price.

      Ally - retail. There is an extra 40 off sale going on in store. Apparently you can stack the instyle25 as well.

    Two of the items I purchased did NOT ring up the correct (sale) price. Now I've got to go back and get it corrected. Learn from my mistake and watch the screen as your items are being rung up! :)
