"Looking to LOVE" with J.Crew

  1. Love that the desert floral tank went on sale and I was able to get a full price sales adjustment plus the style40 from customer service this morning. Of course I had to listen to the "usually only the sale price applies, not the extra promo, one time only" blah, blah, blah but for a $78 savings I sat there and took it.

  2. Thanks J.Crew for replacing my lost gift card! Luckily my husband had kept the receipt, so he called costumer service and was able to give them the card's number. They just bought a new card with the old card and are sending the replacement by mail. So happy!

  3. OT-- has anyone tried on the Elyse dress in silk taffeta? Just wondering how it fits. Would you take your normal dress size?

  4. The Beanstalk Print skirt just arrived-and I love, love, love it. I was worried it would be too short, but it isn't. The colors are wonderful and the print a lovely twist preppy navy and green stripes. I think I have to keep this skirt and wear it immediately.

    I'm also in love with the Strawberry Thief popover! Wonderful, slightly subdued print for the changing of the seasons (even though strawberries are a spring/summer thing, aren't they?). Love it too.

    I used gift cards for these items plus some cash. Ugh. You got me JCrew, I have to keep them.

    Also, to Shopping Celle above--I usually have great Customers Service experiences with JCrew and I'm so glad your card was replaced. I was overseas for a long time recently, and had an eamil two months ago about how my gift card was going to expire. I asked if it could be extended since I was not anywhere near a JCrew (the closest one being thousands of miles away). And those nice people--they reissued me a card. I should have posted that info here earlier. Anyway . . . having a love day.

  5. I had been secretly eyeing the tortoise flower necklace for a while and could not find one in a retail store nearby. I read that many of you had seen it for $49.99 in store while it was still $99 online. The wonderful Ida, a VPS, from the Bridgewater Commons J Crew had ordered the necklace for me and honored the b&m price plus additional 40% off and free shipping!
